Hello, hello my dear!
I really would like to request something, since you asked for it and hell yes the last episode was a banger. I love your Crimson HCs and I think you captured him really well. But I would like to read some nice HCs about the loveliest Prince of Hell, Stolas himself maybe got a little love interest in a Singer Succubus he met at Ozzies? Maybe she got something alluring to caught his eyes. (I don't mind if there are some nsfw parts)
Best regards
Ciel ♡
yall got me fucked up for saying this again, but still making me want to write the story (especially this request, it's like holding a carrot in front of the horse rn) but I will say my piece. I hope it was just a slip of the mind BUT I DO NOT WRITE FEMALE READER fuck I care if you read my writing, but the more it happens the more I'm pushed to write a cock onto the reader. I did ask for request so im not gonna complain anymore.

Overall Notes: Stories written on this blog are GN until specified. While this story uses they/them pronouns, and I don't mind female readers on my blog, I do not write for y'all, and if you are a fetishizer fuck off????????????????? ew.
C/W: SFW - NSFW(suggested/mentioned), Lots of song quotes, Suggestive behavior, mentions of alcohol/smoking, platonic flirting from Ozzie/Fizz, reader serves cunt /positive, low-key himbo reader, special guests Ozzie's other faces, I love them,
Notes: All music used and referenced too will be noted at the bottom. I realize I take so long on writing its like bad. I can either do it for hours on end or I have to split it up. Never in-between. Also tell me why I found myself at 1 in the morning listening to bird sounds to try and be accurate.

my dear beloved
My dear Icarus
Anyways...
Ahem...
He never saw himself coming back to the lust ring after the first time.
Truth be told he hoped it was the last time as well.
But alas he found himself wondering around the ring once more
Stolas wasn't looking for anything when he came to the Lust Ring
Well,,. he was looking for something, more so someone
And that was a meeting with Prince Asmodeus himself
Truth be told, it's not too hard to find the bright and extravagant circus tent like building.
Flashing lights drawing a demon in like a moth to a flame.
Matched with the loud music that reverberated across the ring
Yet, it was a hassle to find the damned three faced demon prince, an even bigger challenge to get a moment with him alone.
And the moment he finally got to talk to him. Just as he was about to ask him to take this somewhere private. Just as he was about to get the words out. Just as he was about to ask for a crysta-
A voice rang out behind him, taking Asmodeus's attention away from a now annoyed owl.
Stolas turned around with a huff, his tail feathers ruffling in irritation, as his entire body puffed up in anger and mock intimidation.
Only to be stopped in his tracks once again as soon as he peered down below.
The soft flick of a heart shaped tail and pointed blacks horns with soft cracks of red running through them entered his view.
A mischievous succubus made their way past him and stood in front of Asmodeus.
The cheeky smile on their face caught Stolas by the tongue as they interacted with the prince of lust.
"Quite popular tonight huh, Oz? It's not too often you work the floor." A snicker came from the succubus as they passed by the goetia without a second glance. Stolas watched as they did a little handshake with the other, before Asmodeus softly placed a hand on their back. "My, my, you're here early~ Looking for some private time with your favorite prince~?" Asmodeus said, his two other faces cooing at the succubus.
A soft blush rose to Stolas's face at the lewd comment as he looked between the two. "You need to pay the dancers before you touch them, big guy." They said with emphasis on their words as they gently pushed his hand off them before turning and looking up to Stolas with a mischievous smile.
"Right, Feathers?"
They left right after their jest
And Stolas was left lapping at his tongue
Asmodeus continued on with their conversation as if nothing happened
Like he didn't just forget what he came here for.
But god. did he know what was gonna make him keep coming back.
And it certainly didn't go unnoticed by Ozzie, who swiftly invited him to tonights show.
Gotta be a good host at the end of the night right?
Residing in a balcony seat, Stolas was left on his own while Asmodeus went backstage to settle some issues.
Stolas fiddled with his phone as he watched the countless tables of couples from up above.
Maybe it was stupid to accept the offer to stay. Maybe he should just go home-
"Bartender~ I really did it the time! Need a couple shots for a good time!"
Oh. He remembers why he's here now.
Soft curious hoots came form him as he peered over the railing watching you talk to guest and other dancers.
You wore a simple black outfit as you leaned against the bar.
He had to stop himself from taking a photo of you covering your face when you laughed at a patron's comment.
The playful smile on your face as you took the drinks brought a small one to his face as well.
It soon took a full on blush when you peered up at him, raising your glass in a cheers to him.
Poor thing didn't know what to do with himself as his brain became a literal bird brain.
Shooting back in his seat he raised a hand raised to cover his face as he broke out into a soft fit of giggles and coo's
you gave a soft smile before walking back behind stage, waving bye to others as you passed by.
Maybe he really did have a thing for red~
Sitting up in his seat he fixed his clothing and feathers as the lights dimmed
"Hello perverts, pervettes, and the freaks who like everything in between~ I hope you are all ready for the show tonight! We have something very special for everyone, me included~"
Stolas remembered him from the last time he was here
The clown's vibrant color scheme and loud persona was hard to forget
As he pranced around the stage announcing tonights agenda, a figure emerged from the curtain behind him
Gaining a bit of courage back he straightened his back and cleared his throat
"Asmodeus, I wanted to ask about that succubus from before if that was alright?"
"I hope it's not to make a formal complaint now. I was just starting to like ya' feathers." A playful voice rang out form behind him
His eyes widened as he softly gulped and turned around in his chair
Stolas was met with a familiar smile that held the same playful tone as their comment.
Instead of the black outfit you had on earlier it looked as if you were there to hang out with him
A pair of comfy pants and oversized hoodie to match, he had to restrain himself from squeezing your face in his hands
With a soft ruffle of his feathers he softly leaned into you with an awkward smile
Making himself smaller, he peered down at the figure before him as he stuttered over his words
"Satans No! No nothing like that. I- uh, I, wanted to ask if you were a worker here?"
"Ooh! You wanted to buy a dance? Well~ you'll have to wait until after the show, but I'll find you after, yeah?"
With the flash of a smile they left as quick as they came and Stolas is left with one thought...
"Oh, I have got to fuck them"
Not too long after they left, the curtains behind him pushed over once again. This time revealing Asmodeus, who had a cheeky grin on his face as he pulled his seat out.
"I hope I didnt keep you waiting too long, now. I had to deal with a few things out back stage." He said as he made himself comfortable next to Stolas. Quick to shake his head Stolas sat up in his chair, dusting himself off a bit as the lights faded to black around them. Spotlights circled around the stage as music slowly built up around them.
The lights slowed and focused on the middle of the curtains that hung at the back of the stage. The curtains flung open and revealed the succubus in a black and red outfit that didn't leave much for Imagination, not that Stolas was complaining. A chorus of la's came from their lips as the lights dimmed around them to a single spotlight.
"Oh baby, baby, have you seen Amy tonight? Is she in the bathroom, is she smoking up outside?" The slowly made their way down the stage, looking at the crowd as they sang the song and made small gestures with their hands.
They made their way to the end the stage, leaning down closer to the guest in the front row. "Oh, baby, baby, does she take a piece of lime for the drink that I'mma buy her? Do you know just what he likes?" Before they said their last line they gave a sly look up to the balcony with a quick wink for walking back down.
"Oh, tell me, have you seen her? 'Cause I'm so, oh I can't get her off of my brain." Each note was staccato at the end, they're danced following along with the words. "I just wanna go to the party she gon' go. Can somebody take me home? Ha, ha, he, he, ha, ha, ho" With a mischievous glint in their eyes they looked at Stolas once more with their words. Whether it be just in jest or in all seriousness, his feathers ruffled at the shiver that made its way down to each of his nerve endings, if demons have them.
"Love me, hate me, say what you want about me But all of the boys and all of the girls are begging to if you seek Amy" More lights faded in as dancers in cages lowered from the ceiling. More dancers filed through the sea of tables and patrons as the succubus sang the along with the chorus. Each one performing their own dance with another as guest threw money their way.
The extra dancers disappeared once the second verse began, a few male succubus remaining on stage. The ones that remained interacted and touched the succubus as they danced along the stage, pushing them out of their way. Which was a little very enjoyed by Stolas as small hoots of laughter escaped him. "They seem to be livelier tonight, I wonder why~" Asmodeus commented slyly to the another prince while not looking his way. Though his other faces gave him dead away as they stared Stolas dead on, giggling.
With a choked hoot Stolas looked at Asmodeus as he tried to catch his breath. "Oh! Is that so? Well they are quite the... performer?" Stolas said questioning himself at the end, all while Asmodeus laughed at his confusion. "They are, aren't they? Seems they've taken a liking to you. Someones lucky tonight or better yet, getting lucky~" Asmodeus cooed softly leaning towards stolas playfully nudging him with his elbow. Only to laugh when he turned his head and was greeted with stammering and very flustered owl.
Safe to say Ozzie just found the story of the night for Fizzy when he finds him. Such gossip queens.
The song only continued on for a few more moments before the lights fully turned off and the crowd applauded as the dancers exited the stage.
Giving just enough time for Stolas to regain his composure
Or well at least a bit of it
Because the remaining minutes Asmodeus was there
He made it a mission to tease the prince before he had to return to his duties behind stage.
But thank satans Ozzie was called back stage quickly
Stolas didn't think he could take anymore of it
His feathers puffed up and face beat red he was pulled out o this thoughts by a knock
"Hope I didn't make you wait long. Wanted to wash up a bit before I came~."
Stolas let out a high pitched chirp his face flushed once again as he lapped his tongue for words
With a soft laugh you waved him off with your hand as you tried to form words through your giggles.
"I'm kidding! Ozzie said it's fun teasing you, but I think he's probably done enough already."
Before he could say anything you gestured for him to follow you
With a prominent blush on his face Stolas straightened his clothes and quickly got into step with you.
Walking down the hall Stolas thought of what to say as he followed behind you
'Would casual conversation be good? Or maybe a talk over a drink?'
Poor boy was a bit nervous
And it didn't help with each moment you got stopped by a worker or a fan.
Though most were quick small talk, some fans had gained enough courage to ask for a date.
Better yet, they would hop to the point and ask of your number.
Each time they got the same response, each given the same number.
"XXX - 867 - 5309"
With a smile and a wink, you waved them off each time.
'Maybe this was a bad idea' He thought to himself as he watched each demon walk away feeling giddier then the last
With only a few more twist and turns he found himself back stage passing by the other performers dressing rooms.
He took one glance away from you and the moment he turned back you were gone
Stolas only found you when you grabbed his hand and pulled him into a dressing room.
The room seemed still as the bass of the music became dulled behind the walls.
Clothing racks and dressers were scattered around the room as a vanity sat on one end of the room while a couch, a few chairs, and a table sat on the other end.
Knickknacks where randomly placed along the room, making it feel a bit less like the work place and a bit more cozy.
"Sooo, uhm- Was that really your number?" Even Stolas winced at himself for asking.
But it was quickly wiped away with a light laugh from you
you quickly made your way to radio and shuffled through the songs and pressed play
When the music started playing you made your way over to Stolas and quickly grabbed his hands. Pulling him into the middle of the room you danced with him to the music as you started singing along.
"Jenny Jenny who can I turn to? You give me something I can hold on to. I know you'll think I'm like the others before. Who saw your name and number on the wall" Letting go of his hand you twirled around before pointing at him and pretending to sing into a microphone.
"Jenny I've got your number. I need to make you mine. Jenny don't change your number. 867 - 5 3 0 9" As you continued to sing and dance around the room it finally clicked for him. It's a song. You've been quoting a song. A smile broke out on his face when he finally realized.
"You've been giving them a fake number! Won't they notice? They might even know the song-" His rambling was cut off by a hand waving in his face. With a gentle pull of his hand you lead him to the couch in the room. "Are you a cop? Or do you always ask these many questions, feathers?"
"What! Heaven's no I would never-" He was cut off once again, but this time, by a hand cupping his face and leaning closer to him. Enough to ghost your mouth against his as you spoke.
"Good, because I might not be able to justify my next actions~"
Then he never came back after that (im fucking wit yall)
While he doesn't make it to every show and performance.
He CAN be found in your dressing room right after each one.
Well you can honestly find him there most nights your on or in the building.
It' what a good boyfriend does <3
Yes, he was the one to ask what you two 'were' relationship wise
Bby didn't want another game of cat and mouse :(
But that was quickly cleared up with your answer
"Wait, are we not? dating? right now? Would you? like too? date?"
Be glad you're cute. He was ready to make a new ring in hell.
He was very possessive at the start of the relationship.
"Fizzie baby, when did we start ordering stone statues?"
They make wonderful coat and drying racks for the dancers though, so Ozzie doesn't have much to say about it.
"Just don't do it to any high bidders okay~"
stolas did apologize though, hes too much of a good boy not too
But there's always one thing he's glad about.
Stolas's day is filled with tedious and idiotic duties and task he has to complete.
But as soon as night begins to set in Hell, a new energy fills him as he runs around his room getting ready.
The one thing he is glad about is that he can always find you in the same place every night.
Be it the fact you're a dancer within the prestigious club, it was basically your job in a sense, you were always able to catch his eye off first glance.
Never more then a few glances away, soon only a few steps as he was the one now to pull you back stage.
What? Asmodeus said he was allowed too, as long as he put money in his pockets.
Make his pockets hurt, and make them hurt good - Ozzie, 2023
Your biggest supporter ever. It started off with simple five, tens, and twenties. Then it escalated to fifties and one hundreds. Soon he was throwing hand fulls of diamonds on the stage.
Which he was promptly yelled at for by Ozzie.
But after each set he's right back stage giving you hugs and kisses.
Not that your complaining much
Having your demon prince waiting for you, watching over you, and only you was an amazing gift after each performance.
He also helps ward off creeps from interacting with you often.
Were you a bit surprised when you saw his true form? Yes. Did you also fuck him in it after? Also yes, a few times. Never knew how much tension that form has. No worries his pretty little succubus is there to help him through it all~
But to be honest, I think he's always more soft than horny.
He's always bundled up in your dressing room, all cozied up on the couch as he has a movie or show paused.
Such a cuddle bug he is <3
And for the fact he comes here so often. bro might as well just work there
That the balcony seat he first sat in with Asmodeus was now a personal booth for him whenever he came
Nothing but the best for his beloved~
Only the best for his canary <3

Ask Game: Tenya ends up interning with Hawks.
Zoom zoom
1- So Hawks sends an invite to Tokoyami, because bird, and also Tenya, because he doesnt want bakugo and expects Shoto to go to his dad's. Tokoyami accepts. Tenya does not, and Hawks figures 'oh ok hes going to idaten even without his brother there', checks, and finds out that he's actually going to a tiny agency in Hosu. Hawks can connect those dots as easily as Manual can, and so he just kinda.... shows up at Manual's agency before Tenya can.
2- Manual's like "what is going on and why are you here", Hawks explains his concerns, Manual agrees he is as well, and Hawks says "great we can do an official collaboration then, the kids will train here today and i'll whisk them off to the Aviary tomorrow for the rest of the week." Manual is pretty sure thats not really how collaborative training works but is also sure Hawks will do a better job both in training and keeping murder from happening, so he agrees. Manual warns Tenya about Hawks both in a 'he WILL arrest your idiot teen self if you try to do murder and also maybe dont tell him anything sensitive ive never seen him without his mask... good luck' not that Tenya is in the mood to take advice
3- i mean Manual gave the advice nicer than that but anyway. the kids are whisked off and Hawks has them with his sidekicks for a bit, meeting with each of them a couple hours a day- asking questions about USJ, and heaping plenty of praises on Tenya for getting out to bring up backup and saving his friend Midoriya's life, plus others- and having him run faster and faster.... and training him in combat. Tenya says he doesnt think that last one's going to be helpful as he'd rarely have to fight an airborn enemy, but Hawks just draws a feather, tilts his head, and says "You sure you don't want to know how to fight someone armed with knives and swords?" and yes.... yes, Tenya very much does, he's heard bits and pieces of how Stain fights and is armed. he's seen the cuts in his brother's armor.
4- Tenya, aware he can't sneak out of this agency and that its too far to hope to get anywhere near Hosu, asks Hawks why he's getting involved just to help train him anyway. Hawks says he doesnt want Tenya throwing away a good hero career, but he doesn't see why he can't do both- make his brother and himself happy, if he's smart about it. Hawks will tell him what he knows about Stain, if Tenya tells him more about the USJ attack, and as they exchange information Hawks challenges Tenya- tomorrow, he's going to be focused on teaching Tokoyami to fly, and Tenya will be left with the intel side of the agency. If he can track down Stain from here, Hawks will consider him ready to fly closer to Hosu. Tenya agrees. Unfortunately for all parties involved, that night the League attacks Hosu!
5- The following morning, Tenya wakes up to a million messages and a video online- Stain dropped by a winged nomu onto a roof in front of Shigaraki and Kurogiri, and dusted on camera as hosu burns around them. The casualties are comparatively low- the hero Native died to Stain mere hours earlier, but Midoriya was caught in the attacks and helped evacuate others, while Shoto and Endeavor ensured most of the nomu were entirely destroyed. Tenya is furious at his missed chance, and Hawks is sorry that happened, but asks if this isn't the best way- Tensei's attacker is dead, and he doesn't have to worry about his little brother getting caught up in it anymore? Tenya is too mad to listen, so Hawks sighs, points out that Tenya does need to get faster and focus on training, but he also needs to remember he has something Hawks doesnt- a family name he gives a damn about, and sends him directly to the hospital for Tensei to handle. He gives one more hour of his time to Tokoyami, then leaves him in the care of the sidekicks as he has a meeting with the Commission.

Could you write a blurb abt sub spence finding ur panties and stealing them (and maybe putting them on 👀) and then u catch him?
Also l <3 ur work sm ur amazing
no, you're amazing!
wc: 1k
Warnings: handjob, Spencer wearing panties, sub!spence, and perv!spence
Spencer sifted through the case files yet again - scanning the pages he had committed to memory, reorganizing them based on relevance, and then tucking them back into his satchel. At this point, he had lost track of the number of times he had repeated that sequence of actions. Yet again his eyes flicked over to your belongings haphazardly packed on the opposite side of the room. He knew he shouldn’t look through your things. It was entirely and indisputably wrong. Under no circumstances should he peek inside your drawers or read the little to-do list you had scribbled onto the hotel stationary. And he most definitely shouldn’t uncap your lotion to smell the sweet scent of you or rub a minuscule amount onto his hands. But he did. He did all of those things.
Spencer wouldn’t ordinarily engage in the kind of behavior that would label him a creep but there was just something about you. From the moment you breezed into the BAU he had been waging a losing battle against his insatiable need to be near you and he wasn’t subtle about it. He recalled the surprise on Hotch’s face that first day when he accepted your offer to shake hands and the suggestive remarks that Derek made at every opportunity. But he didn’t mind. He would endure all of that and more just to reside in the periphery of your orbit. Except you were magnetic, your every move pulling him in closer and closer. And now he found himself crouching over your go-bag staring at a pair of lace panties.
It had never occurred to him that you would be wearing such provocative underwear at work but now that he knew he would never forget. He shut his eyes for a second, imagining you delivering profiles and doing paperwork and talking to him with these on. Before he could even think it through the panties were out of your bag and in his hand. If snooping was bad this was awful. It was literally criminal. He was stealing, for god’s sake. Just put it back, he thought. If you put it back right now you can pretend this never happened.
But it was too late. He shot to his feet as soon as he heard the lock click open but the evidence of his indiscretion was still tightly clutched in his hand. You had, quite literally, caught him red-handed.
You blinked once then twice, convinced that your mind was playing tricks on you. But it couldn’t be. You had purposefully declined Emily’s many attempts to get you drunk, knowing that lowering your inhibitions while sharing a room with Spencer was a recipe for trouble. However, it seemed like trouble found you anyway and now you had a decision to make.
You took him in - staring at you like a deer in headlights, a blush creeping up his neck and staining his cheeks. It took you all of two seconds to kick the door closed behind you. “What’s that you got there, doc?”
He looked down at the underwear still in his hand then back up at you, trying and failing to come up with an excuse. “Y/N, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean - I was just - I was looking for -”
“You were just looking for a pair of panties?” You crossed your arms and raised an eyebrow, a picture of calm in stark opposition to the stuttering mess Spencer had been reduced to. “Well, congratulations. I’d say you found exactly what you wanted. Go ahead, doc. I’m not stopping you”
“G-go ahead?” he asked, confused.
“Put them on.” The command was simple but profound. If he complied there would be no going back. No more stolen glances or unrequited pining from across the bullpen. With shaky hands he removed his pajama pants and boxers at once, looking up at you for a brief moment before pulling the panties on. You breathed in sharply at the sight before you. They were much too small and he strained against the thin material, a damp spot already forming. He shifted slightly in embarrassment, letting out a low whine at how the coarse material felt against his sensitive flesh. “You’re so pretty, Spence.”
He looked at you with wide eyes, still fighting his embarrassment but undeniably turned on by your praise. Feeling bolder he gathered the courage to speak, the faintest shadow of disappointment shrouding his words. “They don’t fit”
“Let me help you, baby.” You could barely contain yourself as you crossed the room, not quite believing that you had Spencer Reid wearing your panties before you. With every step, you took his heart rate multiplied until you were right in front of him. You toyed with the waistband while pressing feather light kisses up his neck, feeling his uneven pulse jumping at every touch. You hooked a finger through the waistband and tugged upwards, drawing a cry of pleasure from Spencer as he bucked his hips forward. “Is this what you like, doc? You like being my pretty boy?”
As you spoke you trailed your hand down to cup him through the fabric, squeezing him lightly and heightening the friction afforded by the lace material. He gasped. “Yes! Yes, I like it. I like it so much. God, I think I’m gonna -”
You continued to palm him, applying even more pressure and sucking marks into the exposed skin of his chest as he rode out his release. His legs buckled as waves of pleasure coursed through him and you directed him onto the bed. You hovered over him as he came down and you couldn’t help but admire how beautiful he was - the sculpted planes of his face, the chain of purple marks decorating his neck and chest, the soaked panties clinging to his hips.
He chewed on his lip, nervousness returning in full force. He reddened as he tried to find the right words but you stopped him by capturing his mouth in a kiss. A slow, full kiss that tied the two of you together, finally sharing the words neither of you had the courage to say aloud. You’re mine. You’re mine. You’re mine
When the breath had run out of both your lungs, you pulled away. He looked down at the ruined underwear sheepishly. “Don’t worry, doc. I’ll buy you new ones”

Some people are expecting commentary from me, but I’ve been super busy lately. When I’m like this, I like to only talk about things I haven’t seen other people saying.
So I liked Kuro Neko a lot. It was very solid imo and I appreciate the alternation between episodes where a ton of action happens (Ephemeral, Penalteam) vs episodes where the two dorks just kinda talk to each other and not much happens heroes-vs-villains-wise (Glaciator 2.0, Kuro Neko). Commentary speed run: Adrien pajamas hell yeah finally, wtf Nathalie out of bed? Good for her but ouch those braces. Rhythm (is that her real name?) was super cute and wholesome as a “villain”, and I love the senti. Lastly, Plagg is awesome at drawing?
But here’s what I wanted to talk the most about.
CT’s favorite thing: new heroes
The almost-last batch of my blorbos have arrived so clearly I stared at screenshots of all of them for 48 hours and noticed some stuff. I would like to point out that these 48 hours also let me go through what I call The Five Stages of New Hero Grief aka getting over the instant repulsion people feel upon seeing their designs for the first time and learning to love and accept them.
Tumblr media
Between his ram-like original concept and the antelope-like final Caprikid, I don’t think Nathaniel actually knows what a goat is? My manga rec for him is one of those baby picture books about different types of animals. Now that I’ve gotten used to him, I actually like his suit. It reminds me of Mitsuru Kirijo from Persona 3. I feel like I’d like him waaaay more if his hair was different, though. It throws me off that it’s so similar to its usual style, even if it’s a little different, so any sort of more noticeable change would’ve made him look more natural. Idk why his paintbrush would have golden metal if everything on him is silver, but oh well.
Sabrina looks just about how I expected her to. I totally called it that she would have a hat. I’ll talk about her design more when I get to that image of her standing upright ‘cause this angle sucks, but I think the marble-designed ball on her chest could be her tool. If her power has to do with tracking, maybe she’ll be useful in tracking down the original, non-clone Penalty who has the actual akumatized object on her.
Tumblr media
Minotaurox my beloved. Everyone’s saying that they see his suit as black, but I see it as navy blue? It’s a kinda desaturated color compared to most of the other suits, but he’s still all blue? (Trust me, I have perfect color vision). I like the way his mask is, it’s new and interesting. I also love the big cargo pockets. Practical. I think the puffy part around his shoulders is supposed to be like an ox yoke. His boots kinda confuse me ‘cause cloved hooves like that could never work irl but I guess it’s just part of the magic. I feel like his normal hair works well with his design because his suit is pretty reminiscent of Ivan’s usual clothes with the cargo pockets, boots, dark colors, and not a lot of details or flashiness. That’s why Nathaniel’s bothers me a little, since his clothes, on the other hand, looks so different from his usual self.
Marc looks fantastic. Glad to finally see an HD image because now we can see the gold trim which is awesome. I like his little scarf, I love his tail, and somewhat unpopular opinion but I love his hair. I’m mixed on the shoes. They make sense, and I always prefer designs being heavily influenced by the animal traits over “this looks good”, so I can’t complain, but how is he gonna kick a soccer ball without wrecking it? I guess it’s a magic ball idk. Super important detail that I haven’t seen anyone talk about: is it just me, or does he have earrings in his left (our right) ear? If you zoom in, it looks like he does. Bunnyx twins? In the picture below, I noticed that his feathers aren’t flat to his chest like I previously thought.

There are four heroes whose animals have hooves, yet zero of them have hoof prints on the bottom of their shoes. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
What I want everyone to look at is the glimpse we have of Ivan’s back. I think his tool’s on there, but what is it? It’s pretty big. Big hammer? Musical instrument? Idk
One thing I do appreciate is that they didn’t go pussy mode with the horns. If the character designers were cowards, they could’ve easily given us Minotaurox and Caprikid with tiny stubs, but they did not, and for that I am grateful.
Tumblr media
First glimpse of Marc’s tool. They changed it from a fountain pen type thing to a quill, but they way he’s holding it makes it look kinda like a combat knife lol. Like in Hack-San, when most of the kids got brainwashed by Robustus, Marc is one again standing in the middle and a bit in front of all the other side characters, and he’s the one speaking for them. This is some consistent new development since it happened twice, and it makes me wonder how important he’s going to become because he was so irrelevant in previous seasons, but he’s changed a lot in s4. I think he’s probably the “beloved character with a big role coming up, like more than this character has ever spoken before” that Ezra Weisz talked about once in a tik tok.
Sabrina looks way cuter in this image than in the trailer imo. Her suit is similar to her normal clothes in that 70s-like aesthetic. Another important thing that nobody’s talking about: is it just me or does she have glasses in this shot? Zoom in on her mask. It looks like she has frameless oval glasses, but I can’t tell if they’re there or not in the trailer shot. If I’m seeing what I think I’m seeing, I like them a lot. They’re cute, and it’s nice to see a girl with glasses not lose them for “aesthetic reasons”. The white part on her chest/belly is a heart aww. Her boots look like those tall schoolgirl type socks, and that plus the shorts, beret, and glasses has a huge vintage prep vibe.
I bet Ladybug is drawing out a game plan in this scene, but everyone’s expressions are so funny. Every single character could be a different reaction meme.
Last thing: I’m trying to imagine how Ladybug is going to give out all of these miraculous. We know the class starts all together, so it’d be tough to separate them all to individually give them miraculous in different locations later. On top of that, there are four more heroes in three other locations, and they’re probably all supposed to be in class right now. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t explain how they get busted out of class, but in Kuro Neko we see how collecting the miraculous from even four temp heroes is stressful and time consuming for Ladybug. Maybe this is the episode where she’ll start considering making more people/all of them permanent at some point, and maybe even considering that everyone knowing each other’s identities would make things way easier.
That’s all for now. I have no time, but I’m sooo tempted to draw the four of them in fashion inspired by their hero forms waking down the street “late with iced coffee”. I can see the designs in my head already. I hope to see fan art of all four of them, and I really hope the show will develop all of them at least a little this episode.

It was comforting, the fluff of ashen white hair that lay on your shoulder, the morning light seeping in from behind the slat blinds cascading a bright shimmer over the expanse of the snowy tufts. The individual strands were dusting your skin feather-light, tickling against you in the sway of every meager intake and exhalation of breath escaping Toge’s mouth.
You had known Toge for years now, and although you couldn’t truly remember how you even came to know him in the first place, he had effortlessly situated himself in the spot of one of your nearest and dearest. You found that his earnest silence brought you solace, words that he could not convey through sentence instead being understood through the knowing glances and expressions you had come to share with one another, the fluency of this mutual language only strengthening with the passage of time.
Now was one of those blissful moments of comfortable, knowing quiet. domestically lounging around your apartment during a day off, lazily giggling at some meme compilation in unison while leaning against one another on the settee. You couldn’t think of a better way to spend your time, this cozy sphere of amenity that you had constructed with Toge an apt repose from the outside world.
Whilst you were lost reflecting on your rosy blessings, you were suddenly brought back to reality when you felt the weight of toge’s head lift from your shoulder, turning to meet the familiar gaze of inquisitive violet eyes peering at you from behind off-white tresses.
“Are you okay, Toge?”
“Mustard Leaf.”
The response, that usually implied he was doing fine in the small dictionary of onigiri vocabulary he had come to employ.. Didn't feel genuine, to say the least. His irises were blown wide, registering your countenance as though he was trying to gleen some hidden information from your inquiring squint, when Toge began to lean further over you. You turned the front of your body to look at him directly, though you were steadily inclining your spine backwards in your perplexion at Toge’s unusual advancement.
He soon had draped his entire upper body over yours, hands reaching around your frame to press into the sofa to support himself as his face drew dangerously close to yours.
“Toge?” A heat was rising in your upper body. Sure, you and Toge were incredibly close friends.. But this was a little too much for your liking. You pressed your palms against the jut of his shoulders and pushed slightly, though with no true force. Blushing, you faced away from him, trying to announce your discomfort at his invasive approach. “T-toge.. This is a bit too-”
“Don’t move.”
And sure enough, compelled by some otherworldly force to entertain the command, you had stopped moving in your tracks. It didn’t take long for you to figure Toge had used his technique. Like a deer trapped in the headlights of an oncoming car, your body froze statuesque while conflicting eyes beamed alive, frantically searching for the reasoning behind the cruel fate that was racing towards you.
An uneasy feeling settled in the pit of your stomach at the sight of his lips pulled tight, his usually bright irises murky with shadows of deception. Something awful was afoot. His deadpan look in conjunction with the preceding events told you this was no prank, swiftly realising that your trust in him had been irredeemably breached to the point of fear at what was coming next. Your body twitched as you strained under the spell that had been cast on you, helpless to the plummeting feeling of the safe structure of friendship you had built with Toge coming crumbling down around you.
Your fears were proven genuine when Toge’s hand began reaching forward, coming to rest on the curve of your hip. You tried to communicate with your eyes, begging for him to stop and to just think about what he was doing, but he paid no heed to it. In fact it seemed like he was ignoring your glare, focused on the task that lay at his palms. He began deftly inching your bottoms down over your pelvis, panties and all coming to a halt over your thighs, just above your kneecaps.
It was then that he shot you a glance of what seemed like sorrowfulness, as if he was fully aware he was enacting something cruel but thought it necessary. Perhaps like how a farmer would look at lame animal before putting it to rest.
Still, you were broken away from the horrid thoughts and back into a harsher reality when Toge had begun ripping the aforementioned cloth even further down your legs until they reached your calves. Shoving his hands between your thighs, the pads of his fingers pressed forcefully against the flesh and separated the limbs till they spread wide. You were completely exposed, the open air cutting a chill against your privates.
He traced his fingertips over your slit, with whatever wet, however slight gathered up in it’s trailing wake. He looked you in your eyes when he brought the digits to your clit, as if looking for a reaction when he began grinding his forefingers against the sensitive nub. Unable to do so much as flinch away from the offensive touch, you mentally grit your teeth as you felt that aching bundle of nerves scream against the assault. It felt painful, at first. You were so unprepared for the sudden encroachment on your most sensitive parts, It made you want to recoil in on yourself completely, though there was nought you could do in protest.
Toge began occasionally lowering his fingers to reach directly into your core, drawing out the little slick you were producing to mercifully rub it over your clit. The lubrication meant his ministrations were less painfully direct, his motions transforming into a light flutter that felt traitorously gratifying, an unwarranted heat beginning to pool in your stomach. Your body was disobediently reacting to his touches with craving, and it made you want to hide away forever but unfortunately you were rendered completely unable to escape the explicit display you were being forced to partake in.
You felt his warm breath exhale humid air over your cunt, when you noticed from your frozen position that you couldn’t see Toge’s face any more, only the top of his alpine locks as he lowered himself further over your pulsing heat.
You knew what was coming, but you still inwardly lurched with shock at the swiping of that lithe muscle over your aching bundle. The feeling made you throb with hypersensitivity, the combination of the attention that area had received earlier now with the sudden sensation of Toge’s wet mouth lapping at you desperately causing your entire pussy to twitch around his tongue in a chase for release.
Dragging and dipping his emblazoned tongue over and between your sopping folds, he came to plant his mouth directly over your clit. He sucked over it with such vigor his cheeks completely hollowed, rolling your nub between his lips whilst deft fingers aided in your pleasure as he continued to pump them in and out of the sticky apex of your crotch.
He worked at you for some time, steady in the intensity of his applications. It wasn’t long before the sensations grew too much, pussy clenching around his fingers as you reached a climax, flood gates swinging open as you gushed helplessly over his face.
He stayed where he was for a second, before rising. When his pale face came into view, you took in the sight of your own slick washing trails down his chin, the purple tattoos it overlay on his cheek glistening prismatic in the light the sun cast over it. He looked wild, salivating at the maw, sparkling amethysts settling an intense gaze into your own eyes which were vacantly still trying to work through the thralls of your orgasm.
Yet, fear sparked them alert with dread when you saw his mouth drop open to speak once again.
“Forget.”
Even in that split second of recognition you had before your memories had been erased for (unbeknownst to you,) the umpteenth time, it was enough for an intensely visceral stream of consciousness to flood your thoughts. You realised intuitively Toge was never really the person you thought he was, and you wondered how many times you had been used like this. How much had happened, how much had you been subject to by his cursed technique. Just how much was real in that domestic setting that you had been experiencing before it all came crashing down like this.
***
If only you knew just how much of your true self had slipped away. With your hands wrapped around his cock once more, The sunset and rise beginning to melt away at the edges into a haze of warm gradients was just a pretty sight to you, the concept of time becoming irrelevant to you as you settled into your life as an ignorant hostage.
Extra Notes:
Yeah so this kinda became a fucked up version of 50 first dates.. although now that I think about it I guess 50 first dates is pretty fucked up? Also god writing a character who hardly speaks is so hard in fic format;; I guess enjoy the challenge though

Feathered Freak, Winged Wonder (Ch. 4)
Chapter Summary: Wild adjusts to the rest of the chian knowing he has wings. There is wing grooming involved.
AN: Final chapter! Woo! Beta'd by @transzeldas :)
AO3 | Previous Chapter | Lore post Here, if you're interested
~~~
It was a week before Wild started to act somewhat normally around the other heroes again. At first, he jumped at every touch, warily tracked every sudden movement, and returned to sleeping tucked in a tree away from the fire, something he hadn’t done since the earliest days of their journey together.
Slowly, though, he relaxed. The others pointedly made no mention of his wings, leaving the subject completely alone. The only real difference was that no one bothered him about bathing so far away from camp.
Before, they had thought he was just self-conscious. Before, they had often brought up the point that being a bit shy about your body shouldn’t lead to your death if you‘re ambushed too far away from camp to call for help. Now, they knew the truth, and let Wild go bathe alone with minimal fuss.
It was another several weeks before he sat down in the middle of camp and took off his tunic and wing binder.
One final test. Were they being truthful? Would they keep up this attitude even when his wings were flaunted in front of their faces?
The volume of the conversation around him dipped for a single moment before the chattering was picked back up seamlessly. No one said anything. He slowly flexed his wings, letting out a pleased hum as his muscles stretched out pleasantly. It had been a while since he had had a chance to do this.
He usually didn’t bother to wash his wings. His feathers weren’t waterproof, and drying them off was always more trouble than it was worth. Which meant that he didn’t stretch out his wings while bathing, as he had no reason to. Bathing leisurely also wasn't something he tended to bother with. He spared no time relaxing in the water, the instinct ingrained in him to bathe as quickly as possible to minimize the risk of discovery. So when he did have a chance to stretch out his wings, it always felt amazing.
He didn’t allow himself to fully flare his wings out this time. He didn’t need or want the attention that would draw to him.
Instead, he let himself fall into his routine, methodically straightening feathers and plucking out the out-of-place fluff. He let his mind wander, thinking idly about what ingredients he needed to stock up on the next time they were in a town. He didn’t let his thoughts distract him from his surroundings, though. He was perfectly aware of Legend’s movements when he started approaching.
The veteran sat down near Wild. He sprawled out, making himself comfortable. The Vet ran an appraising eye watching the movements of Wild’s grooming. Wild’s fingers faltered in his routine, unused to the scrutiny. After a few more moments of silence, he stopped moving entirely, staring at Legend expectantly. It took a pointed eyebrow raise for the Vet to finally speak.
“Your feathers are all messed up… Are you really that bad at grooming?” His blunt words were pointedly casual as if he were asking whether Wild thought it was going to rain tomorrow, and not metaphorically poking at a festering wound.
Wild snorted. Legend's casual brusqueness actually made Wild less offended by his words. He was honestly more incredulous. “What would you know about feathers, Leg? I’m pretty sure you don't have any.”
Legend huffed, avoiding his eyes. Wild could sense there was something he wasn't saying, but let it be. If he tried to prod at the subject, Legend wouldn’t say anything.
A few minutes passed in silence as Wild continued to groom his feathers.
When Legend spoke again, he kept his eyes firmly over Wild’s shoulder, not meeting his eyes. “I… probably shouldn’t tell you this without asking her, but, I guess considering the circumstances… I really don’t think she’d mind.”
Warriors, who always had excellent hearing when it came to gossip, turned around so fast he nearly fell off his log. His movements and exclamations caught everyone else's attention as well. “She! You never told me you had any young ladies in your life, Legend!”
Legend scowled, rolling his eyes so hard Wild wouldn’t be surprised if he could see his brain. He didn’t take Warrior’s bait, though. “No, you idiot. I’m talking about my si- I mean, my Zelda. And how do you get “young lady” from “she?” I could have been talking about an old crone, for all you know.” Wild was sure everyone- because everyone had stopped their own tasks to listen to the budding argument- had caught Legend’s slip up, but no one mentioned it. Legend was allowed to keep his own secrets. Having your privacy ripped apart was a horrible feeling.
Wild knew that feeling intimately.
So he kept his mouth shut, and let Legend continue.
“She’s an Avian as well,” Legend admitted. His eyes darted to the side as he spoke, refusing to make eye contact with Wild when his head shot up to look at the vet.
The others' reactions were just as shocked as Wild. Wind was the most vocal about his disbelief. “What?!” Wind exclaimed, mouth twisted into a pout. “Why didn’t you say that earlier? That would have been helpful...” He trailed off here, eyeing Wild out of the corner of his eye. He said no more, likely because he caught the stern gaze Time was no doubt sending his way. Wild didn’t look in their direction, and returned his gaze to his feathers, trying to act as if Legend hadn’t just dropped a bombshell on him. His fingers once again moved methodically as his mind whirled.
A princess- no, not just a princess, but a descendant of the goddess.- was an Avian? Like him?
When he did not immediately react to Legend’s proclamation, the veteran carried on. “So, I don’t have feathers myself, but I think I know more about their upkeep than you do, looking at the state of the things.” The familiarity of Legend’s snark made Wild relax slightly.
He ran an appraising eye over his feathers. They looked a little mussed up from his binder, but otherwise normal, as far as he could tell. He turned an expectant eye on Legend, waiting for an explanation. Legend rolled his eyes. “Did no one ever show you-'' Legend seemed to think better about finishing his sentence.
Suddenly, Wild was less in awe that Legend’s Zelda was an Avian, and much more envious of her. She had never been required to hide herself. Her decision to do so would have been a preference. A personal preference.
It wasn’t a matter of life and death, nor was something she worried over constantly. She would have had someone to teach her how to be an Avian. Wild had crawled out of the Shrine of Resurrection and had to learn how to fly, how to hide his wings, how to groom himself. All with no assistance. Yearning welled up inside of him.
What would it have been like, he wondered, if he had been able to tell another person?
Before the other heroes found out, he had never told anyone about this. His parents would have known, of course. But other than that, no one would have had a clue. Even Mipha, the woman he had supposedly loved, once upon a time- the one he had wanted to marry- hadn’t known. The Zora armor clung tightly to his form in an effort to be streamlined. It pinched his wings when he put it on, and two suspicious lumps showed through the armor on his back when he wore it. He tried to wear it as little as possible for that very reason. Mipha couldn’t have known, then. If she had and was willing to marry him anyway, she would have made the armor fit around his wings.
He allowed himself to imagine what it would have been like if he had had someone to be there to catch him when he first tried to fly, to teach him how to groom his wings, to bandage them if they got injured. He quickly shook off the thought.
It would have been nice.
It would have been wonderful.
But there hadn’t been anyone. He had needed to teach himself how to do everything, including how to groom his own wings. He didn’t really know what he was doing. He was just going off instinct and his own mistakes. Of course, he wasn’t going to be perfect. He carefully didn’t let his irritation show, but based on Legend’s guilty silence, the vet had figured it out anyway.
They fell into a slightly uncomfortable quiet for a while, Legend watching Wild groom himself, and Wild becoming more and more self-conscious. After several minutes had gone by, he was pretty sure his ears were entirely red from embarrassment. He looked at Legend, almost ready to snap at him, but Legend, seeing that Wild’s patience had run out, spoke before Wild could. “Would you let me groom them? Show you?”
That took the wind out of Wild’s sails.
He gaped at Legend. The thought was too weird to wrap his head around. Someone else? Grooming his wings? That was wrong. It went against all his survival instincts, all the reflexes that had been trained into him as an Avian existing in his era.
Legend didn't push for an answer, only sat back, content to let Wild think. Wild was too distracted to return to his grooming. Instead, he sat, head bent over his hands, which absentmindedly fiddled what one of the feathers he had pulled out. It was a downy feather, fluffy, and a pale teal color. He smoothed it between his fingers repetitively as he thought over his options.
He could tell Legend to drop it, and he was sure the veteran would. But something inside him rebelled at the idea of denying the offer. The idea was alien, but… it might be nice.
He would never know if he didn’t try.
Slowly, he nodded at the other hero. Wild could swear he saw a small flicker of a genuine smile before it was replaced with Legend’s trademark smirk
Legend pats the log next to him “Alright, come over here.” Wild was glad he wasn't making a big deal out of this. He didn’t know if he could handle that. He shifted to sit closer to Legend, probably looking extremely uncomfortable. Legend only arched an eyebrow, spinning his finger in a circle to indicate that Wild should turn around.
Right.
Because he was going to be grooming his wings.
Wild turned to face away from Legend, still hyper-aware of his movements. Legend moved purposefully, telegraphing all his moves clearly.
Wild turned to look back at him curiously when he heard liquid being poured out of a water flask. “Water doesn’t do a whole lot for cleaning wings.” He remarked blandly, more curious than anything else. Legend, eyes free of judgment, explained.
“I know that. I’m just washing my hands. The natural oils on my skin and the dirt I've picked up won’t do your feathers any favors. I would prefer to give my hands a good scrub, but I’ll make do with just rinsing off.”
Wild glanced down at his own hands, which were hardly ever clean unless he was cooking, and winced. Dirt was caked under his nails, and his left palm was still stained red from when he had used it to measure out Goron spice for supper last night. Embarrassed, despite the fact that everyone is very carefully not looking at the scene going on in the middle of camp, he clutched at the fabric of his pants, trying to subtly wipe off the stains on his hand. It didn’t work.
Legend’s voice pulled him back from his thoughts. “May I touch you now?”
Last chance to back out.
“Okay.” Wild breathed. He knew he must sound nervous, knew it was a little shameful for a hero of courage to be nervous about this, but he couldn't bring himself to steady his voice.
The first brush of Legend’s hand against this feather made Wild jump. Legend only waited until he settled down again, before continuing. Careful of the still tender area on Wild’s wing joint, where his injuries weren’t completely healed, Legend slowly ran a hand through his feathers.
It… felt nice.
It felt really nice.
Legend simply ran his hand through WIld’s feathers, straightening out the parts Wild either couldn’t reach himself, or hadn’t gotten to before he was interpreted. That went on for a while, letting Wild get used to the sensation of someone else touching his wings for the very first time.
Wild stared unseeingly in front of himself, concentrating only on the feeling of foreign touch on his wings. He was still tense. It was still weird, but-
“Is this a stick in your feathers? Wild, for Hylia’s sake, when did this even happen?” The pure exasperation in Legend’s voice was so familiar and so strange to hear in such an unfamiliar situation that it startled a laugh out of the champion.
Something broke inside of him, the last bit of hesitance and doubt melting off of him.
They would be okay.
He would be okay.
Replaced part 2
Part 1
Genre: angst. Angst with a happy ending, fluff
A/N: The 2nd part in the replaced!mc au that I wrote a couple days ago. Enjoy! Its super long: 9 1/2 pages long with a 4.6k word count.
-------------------------------------------------
Blinding lights cloud Arella’s vision as she wakes. Her head turns to the side as she blinks, seeing nothing but a white vastness. Where was she? The human pushes herself up as someone calls out to her, a woman- no she’s an angel, Arella is sure of it from the way an ethereal glow seems to emanate from her form. She takes a moment to look over the angel in front of her.
Tan, freckled skin, black hair weaved with golden strands that ended at the middle of her back in soft curls, vibrant sea-green eyes- Arella thinks she’s the most beautiful thing to have ever existed. Her dress and wings are a pristine white save for the singe marks along the outer layers of her wings’ feathers and the bottom of her dress and the arrow that pierces through the center of her chest. It doesn’t take the human long to figure out who the angel standing in front of her is.
“Lilith...”
The angel only smiles sadly at her descendant. She crouches down next to Arella, brushing her curly black hair away from her face and the tears come forth almost instantly.
“They left me...” Arella’s voice is small. “They didn’t love me anymore.”
“But they do... And they always will.” The angel pulls her into an embrace as she speaks softly. “My brothers have always taken things for granted. It’s only once they’ve lost something important to them that they realize it’s worth.”
“What do I do next? What happens now?”
“Go back to them. Not as a human, but a demon.”
“How- !?” A terrible burning engulfs Arella’s body and suddenly she’s falling. Falling down, down, down, until the bright white light and Lilith disappear from view. Her skin- it feels like its burning away as she plunges deeper.
The next thing she knows, Arella is gasping for breath as air rushes into her lungs and the smell of Mammon’s cologne invades her sense of smell, his hold nearly crushing as he cradles her closer to his chest. She can hear Diavolo speaking but his words are garbled- a jumbled mess of word salad drowned out by the fire scorching her skin from the inside out. The way her entire body hurts is all she can think about as she succumbs to the comforting darkness of sleep.
-------------------------------------------------
When she wakes, its two days later. Everything feels sharper. Her sight is better than it’s ever been. She can hear the crows cawing from the aviary on the other side of the house. She can even smell the individual scents of the brothers who were still up in their rooms and...
“You’re awake?” Melissa’s soft voice makes Arella recoil. Even as a whisper, it sounds like she’s screaming at Arella. “Oh no, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt your ears.”
“It’s... Please... Just let me have a few moments...”
Melissa nods and just sits quietly beside the newly awakened demon. It takes a few moments to get a hold of herself and get her newly sharpened senses in check but Arella manages to push herself into a sitting position.
“Would you like to talk?” The blonde asks softly, “I feel like we should clear up a misunderstanding...”
“What’s there to misunderstand?” Arella asks. “It seems pretty cut and dry to me... they chose you and cast me aside like a broken toy that had lost its novelty.”
“I’m sure it felt like that. And it's my fault, that much I’ll agree to. I should have never asked them to help me land a date with Satan... this wouldn’t have happened, right? I can understand if you despise me.”
Arella laughs at that. She doesn’t know why but despite being mad at six out of the seven brothers for not communicating this to her, it was entertaining to her. Was that all it was? Was all of this caused by something so simple as that? Arella knew her boys often had a one-track mind but this was so ridiculous, both on her part and theirs. She rolled off the bed as she laughed, tears streaming down her cheeks as her demon form manifested itself for the first time. Melissa only peered over the side of the bed at Arella, a worried look in her brown eyes as the laughter died down and the former human climbed back up on the bed.
“Are you... angry? With me?”
“Not with you but-” They were interrupted by the sound of three sets footsteps thumping down the hall above her head and before she knew it, Arella found herself back on the floor but this time pinned under Mammon who’s holding on to her with all of his strength as two of his brothers stood in the doorway having gotten there too late to stop him.
“Hey, Dumbass,” It’s Levi’s voice that she hears as he draws closer, “You’re going to crush her crashing into her full force like that!” The purple-haired demon tried to pull his brother away receiving a feral growl in response.
“Mammon, stop! Right now.” Arella tries to use their pact to enforce the order but.... It’s not there anymore. The Avatar of Greed only holds her tighter to him. There was nothing that would separate him from his mate- not after the way he was this close to losing her.
At some point by working together, Beel and Levi were able to pry the white-haired demon off of Arella and she sat up. That’s right... she had died so she no longer held pacts with the seven brothers. But if she had died, why was she here? Ignoring the chaos happening around her between the three brothers, she looked into the floor length mirror and softly gasped at her appearance.
A set of fluffy, feathered, black wings adorned her back while a set of horns jutted out from her head in a way that was not too dissimilar from Belphegor’s. She had black markings that framed the side of her face and reached out to just under her eyes and a crescent shaped one on her forehead. The newly turned demon only squeezed her eyes shut and shook her head. She’s supposed to be dead! Why still breathing and why does she have a demonic form all of a sudden?!
As Mammon and his brothers continued to squabble over Arella, she curled in on herself, holding her hands over her ears. “All of you, just SHUT UP!” Sobs shook her body as the other demons turned their attention to her. Their voices were too loud and her ears were still too sensitive to loud sounds to the point if felt like the sensory overload was going to make her head explode.
“’Rella... I...” The Avatar of Greed, now free of Beel and Levi’s hold, reaches out to place his hand on her shoulder but is stopped when one of her wings slaps his hand away.
“Get out! All three of you... you... you should have just let me die like I wanted...”
And it's with that that the three Avatars look between each other before slowly leaving. Once the boys had gone, Melissa slowly moved over to Arella’s place on the floor, wrapping her arms around the other female as she comforted her.
-------------------------------------------------
It’s nearly midnight now as the Avatars sit in silence in the common room. They had met to discuss a way to reforge the bond they had shared with the human-now-turned-demon, but no words had been said. They all knew who should be the first of them to do this but it was the how. How did they even begin to approach her at this point? Mammon was for having no plan at all, just playing the situation by ear. It’s not like she could overpower him in anyway. What’s the worst she could do? Kick him in the shins? Not something he hadn’t survived already.
“Well, since none of ya still have a plan yet- and it doesn’t look like any of ya are gonna come up with one soon- I'm going ta see her.” The white-haired demon stands and starts to make his way toward her room with no objections from his brothers as there was no other alternative they could offer him. He knows what she’s feeling- like she was abandoned, unloved. As her mate he wanted to fix all that- that was his responsibility. His brothers could make up with her later but he needed to do this right now. He was her first after all, he needed to be the first to talk to her.
As he opened her bedroom door, Melissa was leaving at the same time.
“So, you’re back... good I was just coming to find you. I tried to explain everything but I don’t think it worked and she still seems convinced you don’t love her anymore... Obviously this is something only you can fix so I’ll just leave you two to it. Also... I think she needs help changing back out of her demon form... she keeps knocking things over with her wings and getting agitated.”
The blonde gives her friend a pat on the arm as she headed off to find the others.
Slowly, Mammon entered her room. At the sound, the feathers on Arella’s wings puffed up, the wings herself raising to make herself more intimidating to him and he has to bite his cheek to keep from laughing at how ridiculous she looks like that. He closed the door behind him and leaned against it.
“Put yer wings down, baby. Ya don’t scare me. I wanna talk to you.”
“Well, that’s funny. I don’t want to talk to you,” Arella growled. “You made your choice and it didn’t include me.” She crossed her arms as she turned her back to him. It was cute in a way.
“Then how ‘bout I jus’ do the talkin’ then? Will ya just’ listen?” He offered her a deal, watching as her wings drooped slightly and he knew he had her. Even as a demon, Arella was incapable of not lending a listening ear when asked for it.
“Fine,” She huffed. “You won’t leave until you say whatever you want too anyway but I don’t care about whatever lies you have for me. I already know the truth.”
“Sure, whatever ya say, doll.” He moved to sit on her bed, goading her into talking to him.
“What’s that supposed to mean, huh?!” She stomped over to him a pout on her face. “I’ll have you know, I’m very angry with you. You-!”
Mammon cut her off with a kiss as he pulled her down on the bed with him. The surprise was enough to shock her out of demon form as she wrapped her arms around his neck. When he pulled away, he held her gaze with his.
“I’m sorry for not bein’ there for ya... I messed up- alla us did and we’re so sorry but don’t think for a second that I don’t love ya. Ya mean the world ta me.”
“You sure have a funny way of showing it, you infuriating demon. I heard the two of you flirting in the dining room that one night... You didn’t even ask her to stop.”
“Yeah, it sure probably sounded like that, didn’t it? We weren’t flirting with each other. Melissa asked me to help her practice her pick-up lines for Satan. She ain’t interested in me and I made it clear I wasn’t lookin’ for it if she was ‘cuz I had you.” he poked a finger at the center of her chest.
“But... but... You didn’t say anything. Why didn’t you tell me? I could have helped too.”
“’Cuz I’m a idiot and it never occurred to me what kinda impression you’d get from it. C’mon, Treasure, this ain’t news.” He tries to flash her a smile. “’N before I knew it, almost a year had passed... I felt really guilty and tried ta call ya... but you’d already made up yer mind... Ya got me good, kid. I learned my lesson the hard way...”
Arella frowned as she watched his eyes for any sign of a lie. “How am I still alive? How did I suddenly become a demon...? I carved that long gash up my arm deep for a reason.”
“We gave ya my blood... jus’ a small amount but it did the trick. We turned ya and ya healed up immediately.” He pressed their foreheads together. “None of us know what we’d do without ya. And the fact that we almost lost ya two days ago scares us... We’ll make it up to you somehow. Even if it takes thousands of years.”
“You, specifically, can start tonight. Do you know how many date nights or movie nights you’ve missed? How much I’ve missed just having you in bed with me? I’m not letting you go for the rest of the night!” Arella hugs him closer to her. “That’s what you can do start making it up to me.”
“Yeah, sure thing, Babydoll, but we’re gonna sleep in my room. Ya don’t need this room anymore.” he hums as he shifts his arms under her and lifts her up, carrying her up to his room for the night.
-------------------------------------------------
The pair sleeps so late into the next morning that they end up missing breakfast. By time they come remotely close to even wanting to roll out of bed, Levi is already banging on Mammon’s door.
“It's noon already, guys! Get your butts out of bed! You’ve had Arella too long! Stop being greedy with her.” It's not the Avatar of Envy’s typical wakeup call but desperate times call for desperate measures. He had a whole stock pile of games he was dying to play but was saving the initial play through to be with Arella and he couldn’t take it anymore. Unlike Melissa, she was actually in to all the niche horror games that were supposed to come out over the past year.
“What’s he ramblin’ about now?” The Avatar of Greed looks up at his door before letting his head fall back on the pillow as he groaned. “I don’t wanna get up yet.”
“Then you can stay in bed.” Arella presses a kiss to his cheek before rolling away from his grasp. “I think your brother is only interested in me anyway considering he’s not saying anything about the money you owe him.
“But I don’t want you ta go,” The demon gives his mate the biggest puppy dog eyes in an attempt to get her to come back to bed with him. “Levi’ll keep ya all day.”
“And you’ll have me all night. I promise. Besides, I missed hanging out with him.” She turns to the door. “I’ll be there shortly, Levi!”
“Fiiiiiiiinnnnnneeeeee,” Mammon groans, sulking just a little bit and Arella laughs at his reaction.
“Oh? Is that a hint of sulking I detect coming from you?” Her tone is teasing, “You- the demon who’s been ghosting me for the past eleven months to the point where I thought you weren’t interested in our relationship anymore- is sulking because I’m going to end up spending the rest of one day with your little brother? I’m starting to detect double standards here, my dear.”
“Oh, shaddup,” He chucked a pillow at her head as they both laughed. “Just go and get dressed.”
“I will,” She made a ‘hmph’ like sound before running off to change out of her pajamas. “I’m stealing one of your flannels by the way.” She informs him as she walks out of the walk-in closet fully dressed.
“The hell you are!” He scrambles out of bed and chases her down as she leaps up the stairs and makes a break for it down the hall toward Levi’s room. As she runs, Arella thinks maybe being a demon has its perks after all.
-------------------------------------------------
“So what games are we playing first?” Arella makes herself comfortable on the floor next to the third born.
“It's another time loop horror game where if you don’t solve the mystery before times up your character has a permadeath and you have to go through everything again with the suspect being a new person each time. I promise this time it won’t affect us... Maybe.”
Arella laughs at that, remembering back to that time where they had to ferret out someone’s wish before the time loop reset. “Let’s just hope for your sake it doesn’t. I dread to see what Lucifer might do to you.”
“Yeah,” the purple-haired demon smiles as they begin the game.
After a couple hours of the two demons playing niche horror games, they took a bit of a break.
“I missed days like this... The days where we’d binge anime or play games.... I wish I hadn’t gotten forced into helping the others... Initially, I wasn’t going to since we already have one couple doing gross normie things. We didn’t need another.”
Arella laughs at that. “So, who was it that twisted your arm into helping?”
“Asmo bullied me into it. They were so relentless about it that I just got fed up and caved.”
“You know what, that tracks.”
“I really am sorry... You don’t hate me, do you?”
Her eyes widen at that. “No, Levi. I don’t hate you and I don’t think I can. You know I’ve never been one to hold grudges- especially with the seven of you. I always seem to forgive you guys eventually... And it seems like you all feel remorse for what happened so there’s no need to stay mad at any of you...”
“You know... Lucifer cried for you... when he and Mammon brought your body back to us two days ago... he was crying- they both were... And that’s when we really realized what we had done to you... that you were gone.”
“But I’m back now,” the demon says softly. “And this time, you guys won’t be getting rid of me. I’ll be around for the rest of your lives and I can’t think of a better way to spend it. Now, let’s get back to the game. I don’t know about you but I can’t wait to see what happens next.”
Levi only nods in return as he turns back to the tv.
-------------------------------------------------
“Arella!” Asmo links their arm with hers as they drag Arella off to their room. “How’re you feeling now? Better?”
“Uh... Yeah, thanks for asking. Where are we going?”
“My room, of course! We’re going to have a little bit of a spa day. No offense, but your skin looks absolutely trashed. Plus, now that you have a demon form, I can show you all the best oils and polishes that I use on my horns and I heard from Beel that you have the prettiest black wings that are just like Lucifer’s- okay, the pretty part I added on but still! I know some inexpensive, but quality oils to use when you preen them that’ll keep them looking pristine at all times.”
“Thank you, Asmo, I appreciate it.”
-------------------------------------------------
As the pair sat on the floor in the Avatar of Lust’s room, face masks in place, Asmo pulled out their endless collection of nail polish. They took one of Arella’s hands in theirs as they thought about what colors would work best for her that wasn’t already used for their brothers.
“How would you feel about a magenta? Or maybe- no, Lord Diavolo’s nails are black so it would be a repeat... Oh, oh what about that glittery gold that you like when we pair it with a black base? I bet you’d look good with rose gold nails too.”
“What about black with a gold design? It would be a bit different wouldn’t it plus I can’t remember anyone having designs on their nails. Aside from when you do nail art on yourself.”
“That’s genius! Why didn’t I think of that? Anyway, let’s get started.” The demon sets to work on her nails, letting out a satisfied hum once the first layer is done. While they waited for it to dry, Asmo pulled out some issues of DevilStyle for them to read. Some of their outfits had been featured in the latest issue and since some of them had been ones Arella had helped them refine months ago, they wanted her to see how their hard work paid off.
“They look amazing, Asmo.” She smiles as her eyes shine. “Is that the one we worked on together?”
They nodded. “Mhm. Mammon even modeled one of them. That one specifically, I tailored to him myself so it would look its best.”
“Can I see it? How long ago did he do this shoot?”
“Three months ago.” They turned to the centerfold. “He looked fantastic in it.”
“That he does- but then again when doesn’t he?”
“Oh, you’re just saying that because you’re biased.”
“Mmm, you’re not wrong.” and they both laughed softly at that. “So... I heard you were the mastermind behind trying to get Melissa and Satan together?”
“Yeah... It took forever too. I only thought it would take a few weeks since he’s my brother and I should know his tastes better than anyone but almost eleven months? It feels like a failure to my matchmaking skills.”
“So that’s why you were always busy with Melissa, huh? At least it worked right?”
“Thank the stars it did. But I was starting to think that it would never happen. Sorry we didn’t include you in the planning- we really should have... I really caused you a lot of pain, didn’t I?”
Arella nodded. “It hurt a lot thinking you guys had grown bored of me. Especially with Melissa being so much more than I ever could be.”
“What do you mean?”
“Well, look at me...” Arella makes an up and down motion with her hands. “She’s gorgeous. Long legs, blonde hair with pretty brown eyes that bring you in, skinny but not sickly looking. Right off the bat, she looked like she belonged here with you guys. And then you have me who regularly looks like a hot mess. I’m scrawny, far too skinny and I look like a midget standing next to any one of you. I guess for as much as I seem to fit in with you all, there’s always been a part of me that hasn’t. And I guess, once Melissa got here, it felt more prominent. Your little plan which took up everyone’s free time didn’t help.”
“I’m sowwy.... You’ll forgive me, right?” Asmo gave her the puppy dog eyes.
“What do you think, hmm?”
The Avatar of Lust threw their arms around her- careful of their face masks. “I knew you would. C’mon it’s time to get these face masks off.” They offered their hand to Arella as they went to go wash their faces off.
-------------------------------------------------
Arella admired her freshly painted nails as she walked down the hall. Unbeknownst to her, she was being stalked by a certain white-haired demon. He was quiet, sneaking up on her before he grabbed her.
“Gotcha!” He laughed as she let out a small squeak. “You’re mine now. C’mon, we’re goin’ out.”
“Out? Out where?” She wrapped her arms around his neck.
“A date, obviously. Told ya I was gonna make it up to ya for missin’ all them date nights...” he smiled as he set her down and pressed a kiss to her cheek. “I’m not takin’ no for an answer.”
“Alright, Alright.” she hummed. “I wouldn’t tell The Great Mammon ‘no’ anyway.” She laced their fingers together. “So, where’re are you taking me, love.”
“It's a surprise, so I can’t tell ya.” And with that the pair made their way out on the first date they’d had in months.
-------------------------------------------------
As the days went on, Arella found herself being tugged in all different directions by the brothers. There were days where as soon as they got out of class, Beel was dragging her off to a new cafĂŠ that had opened up that week or Belphie was taking up the rest of her free time with multi-hour-long naps- something Mammon had some choice words about.
Satan and Arella would exchange books for light reading as they sat in the library together and discussed their favorites. Sometimes Melissa would join them too, just as ecstatic about the books she’d gotten from the both of them. Lucifer would leave her teas order specifically from the human world that she often enjoyed. They had even returned to their occasional late-night chats over the same teas.
At school, Luke would often cling to Arella- not caring that she was now a demon as to him she would always just be Arella, human or otherwise- while Simeon only observed them with slight amusement, only to pull the small angel away once they had to split up for classes. The older angel had taken to calling or texting almost nightly to check on her.
Solomon-bless his heart- had started hanging around more, making various dishes for her to try at lunch and asking for her opinions on them. Having never learned from her prior experiences with the sorcerer's cooking, Arella still ate them out of both curiosity and politeness. Now that she was a demon, for some reason Arella had actually come to appreciate and enjoy the meals Solomon would make for her. The pair even joked about Arella making a pact with him but it was just that: a joke.
Now that it was months later, Arella felt even more ridiculous about ever feeling unloved by the people in her life- something they had proven untrue with their actions. Even with Melissa staying with them for an extended period of time after what should have been the end of her exchange year, Arella never felt cast aside for the blonde again. The pair had even begun hanging out together on their own without the influence of their housemates- something that Arella had wanted since Melissa first gotten there.
“So, what would you like to do today, Melissa?” Arella asked as the two women walked down the street. “I know you’re getting close to your return to the human world... its only a few weeks off.”
“Yeah... I don’t even know where to begin.” The blonde sighed. “What did you do during the last few weeks before you left after the initial year here was up for you?”
“I spent most of my time hanging out with the boys. They were all really upset to see me go... Are you planning to come back at some point? And what about you and Satan? Are you two going to keep in touch? You’re very good for each other- like two peas in a pod.”
“We’re going to, yes.” She confirmed. “I’ll still have my D.D.D. when I go back so we’ll talk and video chat through there. I’m going to miss you all though. I’ve had so much fun over the past year and half and it's all thanks to you guys.”
“I’m happy to hear you say that.” The demon smiles. “No one here is going to forget you. Make sure you try to come back at some point. They guys and I would be very happy to have you back.”
“I’ll keep that in mind,” Melissa hums as they enter the arcade.
After that it seemed like life had gone back to a somewhat normal house hold just with one more added on. Everything was at peace now even with some of the days where Arella feels less than good about herself. But she always had one of her seven demons there to remind her just how precious she was to them. During those times, she couldn’t think of a more suiting way to enjoy the rest of her long life.
The Kid from Queens
Tumblr media
summary: Bucky and Y/n take a trip to Queens in search of the boy Bucky saved on the day that changed his life pairings: bucky x reader warnings: none! 🧡 series masterlist / series playlist
Tumblr media
“I don’t think this is a good idea.”
Bucky sank further into the backseat of the taxi, rubbing his palm against his jeans as he turned to look out the window. He was nervous, more anxious than you'd seen him in months. His eyes were unfocused as he tried to count the windows on the buildings, though they were little more than a blur. You curled up closer to his side, wrapping your arms tightly around his bicep.
“He’ll want to see you, Bucky,” you told him, brushing the hair away from his face. He was tense, firm muscle under your grip. “Did you know he lived so close by?”
Bucky shook his head as the taxi crossed the border into Queens. “It never came up.”
It was a Thursday evening when Bucky overheard one of the older guys down at the VA talking about a kid named Parker. He’d nearly frozen dead in his tracks, enough that his grip pulled you to an abrupt stop in the middle of the lobby, squeezing your hand so tight it began to ache. He was as rigid as you’d seen him the day Rollins stormed in the front door and nearly destroyed everything Bucky had built for himself. Only, this was different.
Bucky didn’t look as though he wanted to retreat, to escape out the back door and run until his feet couldn’t carry him. He was curious, a hitch in his breath, eyes glued to the men as they spoke fondly of a young kid who often hung around the VA in Queens, fixing up the computers with broken tech he’d swiped out of dumpsters and garbage bins.
It took a full five minutes before you could gather his attention again. He was too focused on listening to the men speak amongst themselves as he stood just on the edge of the room at a careful distance. His lips were curved into a frown, but his eyes were a little lost – sunken, sad. The dots were there on the wall, the red tape drawn along the board from Bucky’s time in Afghanistan to the kid he saved on the worst day of his life. You could tell by the stunned look on his face he never once considered the possibility of running into the boy again.
You carefully withdrew Bucky back to the kitchens where you sat him down and forced coffee on him. He was painfully quiet, his mind clearly running through every worst case scenario. While he was distracted and stirring sugar into his mug, you stepped outside to ask whether the men knew more about where Parker was staying.
It was Bucky’s idea to go find the kid, though it took him nearly a month to come around. He battled with himself for weeks about it; pacing along the living room, murmuring to himself about whether anyone from his old unit would even tolerate seeing his face after that day. He’d had enough experience with Rollins to tarnish whatever strand of hope he held onto that Parker might be an exception. Even though he saved the kid’s life, he still blamed himself for the loss of eight of their friends. He wondered if Parker did, too.
“Maybe we should go back,” Bucky started again, his hand quivering a little as you gripped it tightly. Excuses began to pile up, the dozens he’d considered since the moment he stepped into the back of the taxi. Maybe you would have let him back out if it weren’t for the cab rolling up to a steady stop in front of an old, brick townhouse with broken shutters and a baseball bat lying on the stoop.
You quickly paid the driver before slipping out the door, Bucky in tow. He stared up at the apartment for a while before either of you moved. The taxi was long gone, the gentle glow of a sunset just beyond the skyline. You could smell the fresh scent of oregano and garlic wafting from the open window in the living room, giving way to the garlic bread toasting in the oven.
“Bucky? You ready?”
He clenched his jaw, a deep breath filling his lungs as he started to shake his head. Bucky turned away from the door, facing you as you gripped his hand a little tighter.
“I haven’t seen him since it happened,” he admitted, shame seeping into his voice. “I don’t know if he would even—”
“Sergeant Barnes?”
Bucky took a few steps back as he looked up to find Peter standing on the doorstep of the apartment. He seemed to be surprised the boy had recognized him at all. It had almost been two years since they last saw one another, but Bucky had changed significantly from the picture you’d seen on Sam’s desk. His hair was longer now as it hung loose down by his shoulders, a scruff of beard covering his cheeks. He dressed in loose clothing and the absence of a limb in his left sleeve did not go unnoticed. He shifted himself to put his right side forward.
“Peter,” Bucky acknowledged tensely.
Peter bounded down the steps in feather light skips until he stood in front of Bucky. A smile lifted high into his cheeks as he looked Bucky over, a hand swiping through his untamed hair. He started to laugh, almost as if his body couldn’t quite contain the excitement, or maybe it was the nerves. His eyes flickered briefly over to you, though they didn’t last long. His smile didn’t falter for even a second.
But Bucky didn’t say a word. He held his ground, stone as a statue. Peter swallowed, a little nervous now in the silence.
“What can I do for you, sir?” Peter asked, his back straightening and for a brief moment you could imagine what he would look like in a military uniform, in beige camo and forty pounds of equipment on his back. He went from a kid to a man in a matter of seconds.
Bucky cleared his throat. “Just checking in on you.”
Peter’s brow furrowed. It didn’t seem like an answer he was expecting.
“Meant to do this a long time ago,” Bucky exhaled, scratching at the back of his neck, “just wasn’t sure if you’d want to—I mean, after what happened that day—”
“You mean when you carried me seven miles through open terrain while you were bleeding out?”
Bucky froze. You tried not to let the shock manifest on your features. It was the first time you’d even gotten a glimpse of what happened to Bucky on that day outside of his incoherent mumbling in his sleep. You glanced down to find Bucky’s hand trembling ever so slightly and you quickly slipped your fingers against his, giving him an anchor to hold onto.
Peter smiled, though it was softer than before. “Sir, you saved my life. I never got a chance to thank you for that.”
As Bucky looked at Peter, you could tell there was more he wanted to say. Whether it was to argue over how much of that praise he deserved or to remind the kid that he also lost eight others from his unit in the same attack, you weren’t sure. But before Bucky could part his lips, a woman appeared in the doorway of the apartment; long brown hair, wire rimmed glasses, and a wooden spoon stained in marinara in her grip.
“Sauce is getting cold, Peter!” she called, pointing to the kitchen with the end of the spoon.
“Sorry, Aunt May.” Peter grimaced, a flush of pink in his cheeks.
She narrowed her eyes upon Bucky, glancing over the army jacket hung over his shoulders and his last name woven into the emblem over the right chest. Her stance slacked. “Oh my God.”
She raced down the stairs. Before Bucky could get a word in, she threw her arms around his shoulders. He stumbled backwards a few paces, his hand slipping from yours as he stabilized her with a hand to her spine. He was rigid for only a moment, the physical contact of strangers not something he was entirely welcome to, though when you heard her whispering ‘thank you, thank you, thank you,’ as she held onto him, he started to relax.
He brought her nephew home.
“Stay for dinner,” she insisted as she finally released him. “There’s plenty.”
“Oh, I don’t know...” Bucky mumbled, a quick glance at you.
“Your girlfriend is more than welcome, too,” May said, a wink in your direction, before she headed back up the stairs and into the apartment. The smell of garlic bread drifted out into the street and you could practically hear Bucky’s stomach growling.
“I talked to Pietro recently,” Peter offered, a small piece of bait to draw Bucky inside as he began to ascend up the stairs. “He said he saw Rollins in county lockup last week.”
Bucky’s ears perked up, intrigued. Pietro must have been another from their unit and it seemed Bucky wasn’t the only one with a distain for Jack Rollins. He glanced over at you, almost as if asking for permission, and you gave him a smile in return, nudging him towards the door.
“Alright, alright,” Bucky conceded, a slight laugh in his tone. You followed him up the stairs; another stone loose from the baggage chained at his feet.
GF & MvsM - Wanna Talk About Dinos?
This crossover was inevitable. It just works too well. Maybe one day i’ll write a fic about how the folks at Gravity Falls handled the robot-apocalypse. Probably shrugged it off. “Eh. We’ve had worse.” Haha! What if Stan and Ford, cuz they were out sailing, had no clue what happened and when they came back they were like, “Wait, what?”
For now, please enjoy this fic of Aaron making a new friend...
(credit goes to @stephreynaart for her OC Jacob) ~~~~~~~~~~ “Hi, would you like to talk to me about dinosaurs?”
Aaron asked this question more times than he could keep track of, but that wasn’t going to stop him from asking it. It started as a dare from his big sister two years ago, but now it’s a fun hobby. When fifth grade isn’t overwhelming him, scaring him with mountains of homework and horror stories about how hard middle school is going to be, and when he’s run out of YouTube videos to catch up on, he is on the hunt for fellow giant-lizard-lovers like a hungry Ceratosaurus.
“No, okay bye.” But it did get a little tiring to always cross out names and phone-numbers on the phone book with red ink. Hey, a dinosaur of a way to find phone-numbers was appropriate. He read the next number, dialed it, and after a ring or two he asked, “How would you like to talk with me about dinosaurs? No, okay thank you.”
Aaron crossed out another name and sighed, taking a break since he reached the end of a line of numbers. Maybe he should just be grateful for Abbey and accept that no one else wants to talk about the Jurassic Period. Or the Cretaceous Period. Or the Triassic Period. But then a big, old, gray-tinted ad distracted him. He grinned, thinking it would at least be fun to give them a call, and he dialed the number.
Private home phone-numbers were fun, but businesses were also fun! Poor, bored workers would gladly talk to him rather than crabby Karens, and they got paid for it! So Aaron smiled as the phone rang, and he grinned when someone picked up.
“Thanks for calling the Mystery Shack, you’re talking to Mr. Mystery himself! How may I befuddle or bewilder you?”
“Hi! How would you like to talk with me about dinosaurs?”
“Oh, dude! I’d love to, but I’m scheduled for a tour of the Oddity Museum in three minutes.” The man said, and Aaron grinned continuously, because it sounded like Mr. Mystery really wanted to talk with him about dinosaurs. “But hey! Can you hold on for one minute, I think I know a guy!”
“Yeah, sure mister!” And Aaron was greeted by the sound of a catchy jingle about buying t-shirts and mugs and snowglobes. He smiled and wiggled his feet along to the music as he looked outside at the beautiful late-fall afternoon, entertained while he waited.
~~~~~~~~~~
Soos was on the hunt. He planned out the house in his head. Abuelita was taking a nap upstairs, Melody was organizing the upcoming tour, and Stan took Jacob out for ice cream, so he might be…
The owner of the Shack grinned when he stopped at the doorway and saw the man he was looking for, sitting in Stan’s chair, reading a book.
“Uncle Ford!”
The old sailor smiled up at the young man. “Yes, wh-...”
“Do you think you could answer the phone for me? I have a tour and I think this customer’s request is right up your alley.”
“Uh… sure, but w-...”
“Thanks, you’re the best!” And Soos was gone before he could address Ford’s confusion.
Ford was a bit lost, having little to no business with business, but he had learned at this point to trust Soos, so he picked up the phone beside him and was immediately greeted with a sweet, “How would you like to talk with me about dinosaurs?”
Ford grinned and closed his book. “I would love to! All three periods are equally as fascinating to study, but the Triassic contains some of my favorite dinosaurs!”
A young voice gasped on the other line. “Mine, too! Everyone thinks the Jurassic period is so great, and it’s pretty cool, but the Triassic gave us Plateosaurus and the Brachiosaurus!”
“That’s very true! You know, it’s very interesting, maybe depictions don’t include feathers at all, which is a bit frustrating, but perhaps after the news has spread they will incorporate more feathers on merchandise and textbooks.”
“YES! That’s what I wanna do when I grow up, help draw better-accurate dinosaurs!”
~~~~~~~~~~
The phone rang on Sunday. The Shack was closed today, so Stan lazily answered it and was greeted with, “Wanna talk about dinosaurs?”
“Sixer, phone for you!”
Ford ran into the living room, elbowed his twin out of the chair, and took the phone. “Hello again, Aaron! Now, where were we? Right, so Australopithecus. … No, I don’t think… Oh! No, homo habilis was erect, Australopithecus was never fully erect.”
“Maybe he was nervous.” Stan groaned, getting to his feet.
Ford shot him a look as thankfully the young boy on the other end didn’t catch that and happily shared some more fun-facts about homo habilis.
~~~~~~~~~~
While most college students were excited for Spring Break so they could get drunk or lose their virginity, Katie was excited because her family had planned a special secret roadtrip. She was careful to keep up with her family and talk to her parents and brother frequently, but Aaron had a hobby he wasn’t talking about that his parents found out and were thrilled about. Aaron had made another friend.
Rick and Katie did some research and the tourist attraction sounded right up their alley! In the middle of the woods, tons of weird stuff, and a fun roadtrip filled with diners and attractions. They decided to surprise Aaron, and they made up a lie that they would spend Spring Break in California with Katie so she could show her family around San Francisco, when in actuality they would be traveling up the state to the Redwood Highway and see the oddity place, and maybe even allow Aaron to meet his new pen-pal. Or, um, phone-pal.
So after bombarding Katie with hugs the Mitchells threw her luggage into the car and drove off. Aaron turned to Katie and excitingly asked, “So where are we going first? Can we go fix the Golden Gate bridge by painting it gold?”
Katie laughed and ruffled his hair. “Maybe later, right now I wanna show you guys this fun store right outside of town. Here, check out the videos I made for my classes!” And she pulled out some airpods and gave one to Aaron.
“Cool!”
Rick and Linda smirked at each other as they drove north. By the time they reached a little diner in Redding, CA, it was very clear to Aaron that they weren’t in San Francisco anymore. “Come on, just tell me where we’re going!” The boy begged as he fed Monchi a fry.
“The best kind of prizes are the surprises.” Linda quoted.
“Eric, Deborahbot5000, where are we going?”
“Sorry, Aaron, we cannot give that information.” Eric said, he and the other robot sitting politely in their seats, happy to be a part of the social interaction.
“Yes, Mother will bury us if we disobey.” Deborahbot said matter-of-factly.
“What?! No I won’t, sweeties.”
“Won’t you ground us?”
The family laughed and Aaron let the topic go; if he was honest, he loved a good surprise. The big family stopped in a motel just at the California-Oregon border, and the next morning after muffins and coffee and orange juice they were on the road again, passing dozens of trees that made Rick feel at home. Katie happily recorded the trip, trusted to be the documenter for another fun roadtrip, with hopefully not as much mortal peril.
Aaron watched as they left the highway for a simple road, and they passed a big sign. The boy gasped and caught what was happening. “No WAY! Really?!”
“You know, I hear this Mystery Shack even has a Sasquatch.” Rick commented while Linda pulled out a pamphlet from the glove box.
“It says here it’s full of odd things you’ll never see anywhere else, even a dinosaur footprint…”
“Wasn’t there a rumor of there being a Bottomless Pit?” Katie asked, pointing her camera at Aaron to get his reaction.
“Thank you thank you THANK YOU!!!” Aaron cheered, hugging his Dad’s neck and kissing his Mom’s cheek.
“Hey, no worries, buddy.” Rick eased, fixing his shewed glasses. “We wanted to see this place, too!”
“Why don’t we eat a quick lunch and then we’ll take the backroad for the attraction? There’s a coupon in here for a diner made from a giant log!”
And so after being served by a pretty blonde teenager at Greasy’s, they drove through town to get to the backroad. Signs made them confident that they were going the correct way, as well as Eric and Deborahbot5000’s GPS. Then as they turned a corner, a big triangle-shaped building came into view. Aaron grinned at the giant sign with a missing letter. People were already leaving, arms full of souvenirs and one or two already wearing their new hats or t-shirts. Once Rick parked in the Free Parking Lot, Aaron spilled out of the car and ran for the shack, but he stopped.
Katie caught up to him and patted his back. “You cool, man?”
Aaron shrugged, holding his hands in front of him and his shoulders up to hide his face a bit. “I-I dunno… What if… What if he doesn’t like me?”
“Hey, I get it.” Katie admitted. “When I first met my friends I was really nervous. I had talked to them online for weeks and I was worried it wasn’t gonna be what it was all cracked up to be, but it was. Your system worked! You found another dino-lover! You earned this moment. Just take in a deep breath and be yourself, cuz you’re a pretty cool dude.”
Aaron smiled up at his big sister. “Thanks.”
Trusting Eric and Deborahbot5000 to watch Monchi and make sure he used the bathroom, the Mitchells went inside the shack. On the porch there was an ice cooler, a sign reading schedule times for tours of the Oddity Museum, a Help Wanted sign, and two rocking chairs with a game of checkers between them.
Inside the store a few customers filled up the gift shop, alongside t-shirts, snowglobes, a vending machine, a door beside ti that read Employees Only, a bookshelf full of comic on one side and old newspapers claiming alien sightings on the other, a fish tank holding a monkey-mermaid, and barrels full of spaceship keychains and dino claws. A new section called Camping Stuff caught Rick’s eye, selling backpacks, lanterns, flashlights, batteries, canteens, and compasses. Katie opened a comic called Lil’Stanley and laughed at the swears, taking a pic and sending it to her friends’ group chat. Linda looked into the barrel full of patches and grinned at all the fun designs, while Aaron stared happily at the mer-monkey.
The Employees Only door opened and closed and Rick watched as a man in a suit, fez, and eyepatch walked up to the lady at the register and kissed her cheek. The woman smiled lovingly and left while the guy who resembled a gopher checked a customer out. Rick waited until the buyer left to approach the register, leaning an arm on the counter.
“Welcome to the Mystery Shack, dude!”
“Thanks! So, this is gonna sound weird, but my son Aaron talks to a guy here about dinosaurs…”
“No way!” The owner interrupted excitedly. “Good to see you, dudes! I’m Mr. Mystery! Wow, you guys came a long way, huh?”
“Nah, only from California. My daughter is attending art school there.”
While the men chit-chatted and Linda joined them, Katie noticed a guy walking up to Aaron and looking at the mer-monkey. She smiled and tried to read the comic without being too nosy, but she kept her senses on her brother.
“Hm, quite fascinating, isn’t it?” The man in the blue hoodie said. “But I think my favorite is the fossilized footprint. Could be Nanuqsaurus hoglundi.”
“The Polar Bear Lizard?” Aaron clarified, touching his chin as he looked at the dino-print, his back to the man he was talking to. “Maybe, but they’re from Alaska. It’s possible plate tectonics did cause some fossils to be relocated here, but it could also be a Nanotyrannosaurus lancensis footprint.”
“The Dwarf Tyrant? Could very well be. Would you like to talk about dinosaurs after your tour?”
Aaron’s eyes widened as the voice was finally familiar to him. He turned and looked up to find an old man smiling up at him. He had fluffy gray hair with a white stripe running around his scalp, wrinkles by his eyes due to smiling, a cleft chin, glasses, and wore a blue hoodie with a maroon sweater underneath. His hands were behind his back and he smiled down at Aaron warmly, while the boy was jittery and overly-excited. He took in a sharp breath and had to fight every muscle to keep from leaping through the screen door.
“H-H-Hi…” He peeped. He cleared his throat and tried again. “Y-Yeah, sure! I’d love to! I’m Aaron! Er, wait, you already knew that.” And he held out a hand to shake.
His phone-pal, Ford, chuckled and got on one knee to be eye-level. “Greeting, Aaron! It’s nice to formally meet you.”
Aaron shook his hand and noticed something. He had six fingers on his right hand. A quick glance told Aaron he also had six fingers on his left hand. Aaron grinned with sparkling eyes at his new friend, while the old sailor smiled warmly at the boy that reminds him of his niece and nephew when they were young.

Curiosity pt. 4
Tumblr media
His features contort with anger and he’s suddenly too close. You hadn’t even seen him move. You take a step back and unlike the time in the library, he doesn’t stop you, merely continues to press into your personal space until your back hits the door behind you. Riddle’s arm flies up to rest next to your head, his long fingers are so close that for a moment you think he might tangle them in your hair.
After that night, you can’t seem to escape Riddle anywhere.
You suppose you shouldn’t be shocked by that. But now that he’s noticed you, now that he’s decided that you’re something to be interested in, it’s as though he takes up all your attention. By far the worst thing, however, is the fact that Marie and Stephanie have decided that he is the best person in the world. In your more charitable moments, you can understand why. From Marie’s perspective, Riddle has protected her future by keeping her trespassing to himself and from Stephanie’s perspective, his silence is a tacit agreement that she should be allowed to continue playing on the house team. Apparently, you are somehow unreasonable for failing to join them in their support of all things Tom Riddle.
“Can we please just drop it?” You grouch as you slump forward in your seat, waiting for Dumbledore to arrive to start the lesson. “I’ve told you both, I don’t want to talk about it.” Stephanie prods you with her wand and opens her mouth to say something but you quickly cut her off, “I’m not being ridiculous. Stop telling me that I’m being ridiculous.” This is the other point of contention between you and your two best friends: you haven’t told them why Riddle held you behind that night. They’ve decided that you’re having a clandestine relationship which would be a laughable notion if it weren’t for the way that your pulse quickened whenever they brought it up.
“Fine. You’re not being ridiculous. He’s looking at you again, though” Stephanie murmurs and smirks at the low groan you emit as your head hits the desk in front of you. You know you should tell them what happened, but you’re not sure how to without making it seem as though you’re being unfairly suspicious. (Which is maybe an indication that you are, but that’s neither here nor there.) It’s just that… You know Riddle is persistent - he’s told you multiple times - and you know that you have an awful habit of refusing to let an issue drop. They’ll accuse you of being hypercritical but something about the way Riddle acts around you sets you on edge. You don’t know what it is about him, just that there’s something strange about the way he treats you compared to everyone else.
Thankfully, your interrogation is effectively cut short as Dumbledore enters the room at that moment, sweeping past you in a whirl of canary yellow robes. “If you’d all like to pair up, we’ll be practising our colour-morphing today, class. And remember: non-verbal if you can.” With a flick of his wand, a dozen brightly coloured songbirds in gilded cages appear on the desks in front of you. Transfiguring live animals is always more difficult, and transfiguring something as specific as the colour even more so. You find yourself grinning at the challenge.
Before the three of you can fall into your usual squabble about who has to be the one to find a different person to partner up with, a shadow falls across your desk and you don’t have to look up to know exactly who it is. “Would you care to partner up?” Riddle asks and next to you Stephanie all but cackles. Obviously, he hears her - she’s making no effort to cover up her amusement - but his expression doesn’t change at all as he smiles politely down at you. After a second, he raises an eyebrow expectantly and you realise with a sinking feeling that there is really no way you’ll be able to get out of this. Marie and Stephanie have already grabbed their songbird and are watching you with joint expressions of amusement.
“… Sure.” You say at last and slowly you grab your bag and follow him to where he’s stationed himself at the side of the classroom. You frown slightly. Riddle usually sits close to the front in all his lessons, but now you think of it, in Dumbledore’s classes, he seems to try and make himself as invisible as he possibly can. You settle in the chair opposite him and watch as he places the songbirds cage carefully down in the middle of the desk. The silence seems to stretch for an uncomfortably long time between you but he doesn’t seem affected by it at all. He just watches you with a mix of amusement and expectation dancing in his eyes. Ridiculously, you find yourself wanting to impress him. “So,” You say when the quiet becomes too much, “Do you want to go first, or shall I?”
A small smirk spreads across his lips and he draws his wand out from his robes. Your eyes track his movements with more interest than you care to admit. His wrist twists in an expert motion and your little blue songbird shimmers for a moment before the blue of its feather seems to melt into deep emerald green. You absolutely do not think about what else he might be able to do with such clever hands. You’re absolutely not impressed that he succeeded in the colour-morphing transfiguration on his first attempt. Non-verbally. He did it non-verbally. He looks back at you and to your frustration, he still doesn’t speak, just keeps that pleasant smile plastered on his face like there is nothing odd about the situation you find yourself in at all.
“Right. Well done, then, I suppose.” You mutter and retrieve your own wand. You pretend you don’t notice the way his gaze becomes a little more focussed. Why does this feel like a test? Why does this feel like a test you want to pass? You shut your eyes for a second, allowing your mind to go blank and still. Slowly you think of the incantation, rolling the syllables over in your mind until they reverberate around your skull. You open your eyes, swish your wand in a precise flick and watch as the bird shifts colour from green to purple. It’s not as neat as Riddle’s own casting you note with no small amount of displeasure; the change takes longer and the tips of the bird’s feathers are a lighter shade of purple than the rest of it.
However, for a first attempt, you are fairly impressed with yourself. It seems Riddle is as well, because his pleasant smile has disappeared and he’s watching you closely now, dark eyes flicking between you and the bird. He hums in something like approval and you tamp down your desire to preen. “That was… impressive. Your first attempt at the spell?” You nod, not quite meeting his gaze. “So you’re talented at Transfiguration.” He says slowly, as though he’s piecing something together. Again, you nod. “Talented enough, to say, transfigure something into a quill, perhaps?”
Fuck.
His smile returns, sharp and pleased. He opens his mouth to say something but is cut off when Dumbledore appears at your desk, smiling congenially. “I don’t believe I’ve seen you two working together in this class before,” He clasps his hands and looks down at you as though he can see right through you. Despite his placid tone, you think you catch an undercurrent of something else lurking just beneath the surface of his statement. “Have you managed the spell? We wouldn’t want to be wasting valuable lesson time chatting, would we?” You think distantly that you should be grateful for Dumbledore’s interruption except… Well, he’s never told you off for chatting in class before. And he’s never looked at you the way he’s looking at Riddle.
And you’ve never seen Riddle look as uncomfortable as he does right now. His smile has slipped from his face as quickly as it came. He stares straight past you and when he speaks, his voice is a quiet, reserved monotone. “You are the biggest proponent of inter-house cooperation, Sir.” Dumbledore doesn’t stop smiling but he does raise an eyebrow as though he doesn’t believe a word of what Riddle has just said. You find yourself wanting to come to his defence.
“We’ve both managed it, Sir. First time round.” You try not to shift under the scrutiny of your professor. “Riddle - sorry, Tom’s was near perfect.” Which is annoying to admit but also true. Riddle (Tom?) glances at you and you’re not stupid enough to mistake the look in his eye for gratitude but at least it’s better than that shuttered, flat stare. Dumbledore says nothing in response and the rest of the lesson passes unremarkably though you can’t shake the confusion over what just transpired between you, Riddle, and Dumbledore. Soon, everyone around you is packing their things and heading out the door to lunch. You’re still trying to figure out what it is about Dumbledore that makes Riddle so uneasy that it takes you a moment to realise that the classroom has emptied out entirely. You hastily grab your own things and shove them into your bag.
You’re almost at the door when Riddle’s voice cuts through your thoughts. “We still haven’t discussed what we found out today,” He calls and because your back is turned to him, you don’t bother to hide your grimace. You had really hoped you’d be able to avoid this conversation.
“Why don’t you sit at the front in Dumbledore’s classes?” You ask suddenly, desperate for a distraction.
Riddle’s eyes flash with something that you’re beginning to recognise as tamped down anger before his expression shutters. He runs a hand through his hair and your eyes don’t track the way his waves fall in slight disarray. “Dumbledore and I have a… difficult relationship. I haven’t a clue why,” He’s lying. You know he’s lying. “It’s just always been that way.” The finality in his voice signals the end of the conversation, but you don’t want to let it drop. Not now you know he’s lying and certainly not now he knows that you did find something in Larkins’ office.
“Really? It certainly didn’t seem that way to me.” You counter, sounding a lot more confident than you feel. “It seemed to me like he has a very good reason not to like you. I wonder what it could be? Maybe you should be careful poking around other people’s secrets when you clearly have a few of your own.”
Your stomach drops with something that is definitely not anticipation at the thought. From this angle, the shadows of his cheekbones that much more pronounced, the waves of his hair fall messily across his forehead and he stares down at you with impossibly dark eyes, breathing hard. You don’t think you’ve ever seen him this close to coming undone and your treacherous body reacts to that realisation in kind. Your breath hitches in your throat and you feel yourself start to flush. You’re not sure how long you stay there, the two of you glaring at each other whilst your pulse races. Eventually, though, his breathing calms down and his arm drops to his side. He leans back and seems to collect himself.
“I’d like it if you refrain from asking me questions about Dumbledore in the future.”
“And I’d like it if you refrain from asking me questions about my own personal business, but here we are,” You retort. He blinks, evidently surprised by your reaction and then something breaks in his expression and he laughs once sharply.
“You are the most frustrating person I think I’ve ever met. Why won’t you just tell me? You know I’ll figure it out. Or I’ll make you tell me.” He’s just insulted and threatened you in the same breath and you think you should probably be irritated by that, but there’s something odd about the way he’s speaking to you. He doesn’t… sound angry? Or like he’s trying to scare you into compliance. No… he sounds… You shake your head. It doesn’t matter what he sounds like. You’re being ridiculous.
“Why do you care so much?” You ask, gesturing wildly. “I know you care as little as I do about quidditch, I know that you’re not going to do anything with the information, so why do you care so much?” And somehow you do know that. This is a game to Riddle. It’s a puzzle he hasn’t been able to solve, and, like you, he’s not very good at letting things go.
The next word he speaks confirms your suspicions. “Curiosity.”
You blink up at him and you know he’s telling the truth. (Since when have you been able to pick up on these things about him?) He doesn’t stop you when you turn and walk hurriedly out of the classroom. You don’t look back. It’s only when you reach the ground floor that you realise you know exactly what he had sounded like. He’d sounded like he’d been having fun.

I've been following your blog for a while now and I love your writing and your meta! I was wondering, do you consider Levi and Hanji's relationship to be romantic in canon? Do you consider it canon that Levi had romantic feelings for Erwin?
Thank you for the ask anon, also, thank you for ruffling my feathers a bit too :D. I’m glad you like my writings and meta and I hope that my works continue to bring you joy.
The types of questions you asked up there could only lead to the types of answers that can spark ship wars. I mean the dialogue in 136 and the change in kanji for chapter 132 hinting their own ships canon were enough to have Eruri and Levihan shippers bashing each other on twitter tbh.
Personally, I see the romantic potential for both Levihan and Eruri in the show. That’s why I found myself reading a good number of Levihan and Eruri fics. (But lots more Levihan if it isn’t obvious from AO3 bookmarks and my tumblr title). I mean lots more romantic potential than let’s say.... ereri
Do you consider it canon that Levi had romantic feelings for Erwin?
I’ll answer this one first. No. I don’t think Levi had romantic feelings for Erwin anywhere on the show. Was there potential for something to bloom? Possibly, that’s why I still read eruri fanfiction. I like exploring the possibility if Erwin wasn’t a little too obsessed with his dream, maybe their relationship could have turned out differently.
In canon, by the time they introduced Erwin, Erwin had already forsaken all romance and I think whatever feelings Erwin had towards romance rubbed off on Levi and their relationship ended up being more professional than anything. Due to Erwin’s one track mind and the position he had taken upon himself. any romantic possibilities between them in canon was just harder to make happen.
Levi though still had strong feelings towards Erwin. It’s undeniable. Erwin had given Levi purpose to live and direction on where to go next, what to do next so that’s why regardless of whether canon had made it possible or not, this relationship is still very interesting to explore.
Erwin was more professional and cold than Levi imo and honestly, despite the cold demeanor of his best friend Erwin, Levi was an incredible softie at heart and we’ve seen that side of him multiple times, when he gave Petra’s badge to that one soldier, when he stared at that one mother and child when they were on the wall ready to leave to retake Shiganshina.
We all know Levi begrudgingly wanted that soft side of him indulged and between Erwin and Hange the one more likely to indulge that softie side of Levi was Hange.
Which brings me to the next question.
Do you consider Levi and Hanji's relationship to be romantic in canon?
I wouldn’t be obsessively writing Levihan fics if I didn’t see it as romantic in canon. But at the same time, I don’t believe Hange and Levi have been in a relationship since Season 1. My headcanon here is Hange and Levi built that relationship over time and this relationship just rapidly progressed after season 3
It’s incredibly subtle which is one of the reasons people like to pretend it doesn’t exist. Probably because they’re trying to promote another ship or they don’t wanna see romance in AOT
But I don’t think a relationship developing subtly is at all a sign that it can be more platonic than anything else.
In fact, most healthy relationships and most relationships from a bystanders point of view, develop subtly. Like we were the bystanders in many other developing relationships in real life, I think we, the audience of AOT, were also bystanders watching the subtle development of Hange and Levi’s relationship.
Let’s think about how we’ve watched relationships develop in real life.
If we’re not invested, they happen incredibly subtly. These people are just constantly together, then eventually we realize we can’t invite the other without the other, then we realize we can barely get them alone, then we realize the person changed and eventually they drop this bomb saying “by the way, I’m dating this person now.”
This pattern happens way too many damn times among my friends though and people I just randomly watch everyday that it just became so expected for it to develop into romance so eventually, when I’ve seen the formula play through, I tend to lean on the side of ‘yeah, they’re probably togteher or getting there.’
Yeah, I get it, there’s a danger in assuming that people are together. I’ve seen enough romantic relationships develop though to realize that leaning on the side of ‘romantic’ given specific signs is usually the correct assumption. In fact, I have earned a good amount of money irl winning bets with my friends that two people are actually together but are hiding a relationship (or possibly are in denial).
What are some of these signs?
The way they treat this one person is so glaringly different from how they treat other people
Through the years, I have lost a lot of my best friends to their boyfriends/girlfriends and as the youngest child, I have watched all seven of my siblings get into a relationship and believe me, a lot of them have a certain line they would draw on what they are willing to do for their close friend or sibling and what they are willing to do for a lover.
I have seen people in love so willingly have their hand crushed while the person they love has their fingers set back. “Hold my hand as hard as you need to.” I’ve seen my friends take a detour 1 hour away from the destination just to pick up the person they love. And here’s the thing, they wouldn’t have done it for anyone else usually, they would have only done that thing for that one person.
Yes, okay doormats exist. But even people with doormat syndrome, the threshold of what someone is willing to do for a close friend and for a person they love still differ regardless. In a life or death situation, I think both Levi and Hange would have fought to conserve lives but if we consider small things, like routines, groceries, small favors, I feel like Levi has an incredibly low threshold of what he’d be willing to do for a random person. But Levi still carried her groceries for her so he could meet her with Moblit in the smartpass. Levi still picked her up and waited for her in Season 2 when she was researching the rock. And for Hange, chapter 115 is all the hint you need. I honestly don’t know if Hange would have gone through those lengths for anyone else but selfishly abandoning commander duties for one guy? She practically said screw you to everyone else.
The way they talk to each other is different.
This is something I notice in real life too. Most people won’t notice when they themselves do it but it’s incredibly obvious for listeners if the listeners look out for it. The tones of people’s voices change when they’re talking to someone they love. For a lot of people, sometimes their voices get a little high pitched. For others, sometimes their voices get a little softer. Just watch when you’re talking to a friend and suddenly their SO calls. (It might not apply to everyone but I find this incredibly common.) Not just tones, speech patterns change or tendencies too. In front of that one person, sometimes people are a little more selfish. Like maybe, they don’t usually say what they want to eat but when the one person asks, they would answer because suddenly they know what they want.
With Hange and Levi we have the ‘let’s live together’ and the ‘dedicate your heart’ respectively.
These are two expressions/phrases they would have not used with anyone else. There was probably more in canon, but these are just the most glaringly obvious ones with two pivotal scenes that blatantly show that Hange and Levi do have signs of the above.
Hange and Levi who are generally very selfless all business people, are suddenly only selfish with the person they love. Hange with “let’s live together?” An injured Levi deciding to rest and sleep despite the fact that they were in a war because Hange was nearby to take care of him?
Those two were suddenly selfish when they were alone with one another?
They are constantly together.
Okay, irl, you can see this when you have all your friends ride in a car together and somehow, it’s always them taking those two seats next to each other. They leave the classroom together. They leave every single dam room together. And it could be subtle or not but they always wait for one another. Yet if one person is not there, they’re the type to just go ahead and leave without giving the room behind them a second look. When someone wants to buy something, the other always has an excuse to come. And oh my god, when you call your friend in the middle of the night to hang, that person is always in their dam house or in their dam room, no breaks.
And Hange and Levi have their equivalent of this.
Levi literally picked Hange from her lab in Season 2 while she was injured and he had no need to.
I think I have made a post where Levi and Hange are shown constantly together but lemme make some points. Even early in canon, why were Hange and Levi introduced riding next to each other, they’re not even in the same squad. Why were they riding out the gate together? Shouldn’t Levi have been with his squad and shouldn’t Hange have been with her squad?
Yeah sure, maybe they just decided to ride together. But why were they next to each other in the Ilse’s notebook too when they went out the gate? And even when they were going to take back Wall Maria, Levi and Hange were next to each other in the lift, they were back to back on Wall Maria.
Like the only expedition where they weren’t riding together was when Levi had to protect Eren yo.
“They’re both leaders of course they were together” Mind you, Levi’s position in the military is a special one. He’s the captain of a special operations squad and not at all a squad leader so he shouldn’t be riding next to Hange if it were by “leaders” and in the retake Wall Maria, if they were divided by “leaders” why didn’t Hange take the lift with the other squad leaders? Why wasn’t she back to back with the other squad leaders on top of Wall Maria?
Why did she pick to hang out with Special Ops squad Captain Levi of all people, in every. Single. Damn. expedition. Scene.
And don’t even get me started on post Season 3 man. They’ve been inseparable since Erwin died.
They literally come in a set.
And you kinda realized your friends are in love when you wanna invite one of them out and you realized you kinda have to invite their special little friend by default.
And Hange and Levi are just like that too,
Hange and Levi have always come in a set. In fan art, in those advertisements, Hange and Levi are always next to each other. In those fan audiobooks, smart passes, there are always Levihan crumbs. Attack on Titan Chuugakkou was literally a testament to the canonicity of Levihan since in that show, they didn’t even hide anything, Levi and Hange were always next to each other. (I think Hange actually ended up living with him towards the end?) Post Season 3, I don’t even think there were many seasons where Levi and Hange were apart and when they were apart it was more of for duty than anything else.
Hange was always with him when she could, despite her duty as commander. Given their circumstances, they wouldn’t even be together a lot if they didn’t make the effort too.
Especially towards the end, 126 - 132, the few times Hange did leave Levi behind were for commander duties but Hange never left Levi for the lulz. And also, in 132, Levi was magically able to walk when Hange finally left him behind, and Levi could barely walk in 132, yet he still pushed himself to stand up, walk toward her and attempt to stop her.
In fact, Hange’s first scenes were next to Levi and Hange’s last scenes were also next to Levi “See you later Hange.”
And I think the huge efforts they put to being together despite their circumstances says a lot already. Hange and Levi’s treatment of each other and their being together constantly in general is a huge testament to the canonicity of their romance.
Sure, there were no ‘I love yous’. But really, before our irl friends who were in love actually came out to us, maybe months or even years after we’ve watched them be joined at the hip, were there really ‘I love you’s  between them or did we all just place bets on it because they were just being too glaringly obvious about it in how they treated each other?

Book One: Gold (Prompto x Reader) Chapter XXXV
A couple years later, rebuilding Insomnia was still in full swing. People were beginning to return to the city after hearing their king was alive and well after the darkness was vanquished. Noctis was still trying to get used to his duties as king, but he had the help of his friends. Even Cor returned to help him. Many of the Kingsglaive returned to help with the restoration project.
Today, (Y/n) was watching Prompto puzzling as he ran around frantically in his new office located in the Citadel. Some of his papers fell off his desk, which she picked up for him. After laying them back down on the desk, she called out to him. "Prom, what is going on that requires you to be running around like a chocobo with its head cut off?"
The man, who was now sorting quickly through his paperwork while standing up, looked over at her. "Oh, right! I haven't told you yet." He looked back down at the papers and grabbed his pen, promptly signing the documents. "We're going on a vacation!"
"Huh?" She blinked in shock.
"Noct told me to take a vacation with you or he was gonna kick my ass," Prompto chuckled. "He wants us to have some alone time after spending these last two years so focused on the restoration project. We...really haven't had much time for our private life."
"Now that you mention it, we really haven't. Whenever we're done here, we always wind up crashing at home. And then when we wake up, we're back on the job."
Prompto grabbed the paperwork and turned to leave the office. Before he left, he hooked an arm around her waist, pulled her into his side, and kissed her on the cheek. "Meet me outside in ten minutes. We'll go home and pack as quick as we can and then we are outta here!" He stormed out of the room and began running down the hallway.
(Y/n) rearranged Prompto's desk before leaving the office. As she closed the door behind her, she spotted Noctis walking down the hallway. She smiled and greeted him. "Hey, Noct. Never expected you to threaten your best friend with a vacation."
"You two need some time off," Noctis said. "So do I..."
A smirk made its way on her face. "So you can spend more time with your special someone?"
The king rubbed the back of his neck with a groan. "Who told you about that?"
"Gladio did."
"Of course he did..." He combed a few stray raven locks aside. "Actually, I was hoping to find you before you and Prompto left. I was hoping you could tell me a little more about guardians."
Her eyes widen. "Wait, is this woman you like a spirit?"
"Guess Gladio didn't mention that part," he chuckled.
She smiled. "Then I'll tell you all that I can."
As Noctis and (Y/n) chatted, they had lost track of time. They didn't realize how long they'd been talking until Prompto came running down the hallway. "Hey! How could you keep me waiting?" He pouted childishly, poking her in the side playfully. "We're supposed to go on vacation together!"
"Sorry, Prom," she said. "Noct and I were talking."
"Is this about his new girlfriend?"
"She's not my girlfriend," Noctis groaned.
"Then ask her out already!" Prompto shouted.
"You're worried about her master, aren't you?" (Y/n) asked.
"Something like that," the king sighed.
"Listen, I know you're probably worried she and her master will say no because you're the king, but there's only one way to learn the truth. Ask her and see how it goes. Don't worry about her master. And if you need my help when we get back, I will gladly lend my services."
Noctis smiled in relief. "Thanks, (Y/n)." He walked up to Prompto, patting him on the shoulder. "You two have fun."
"Oh, we totally are gonna have a ball!" Prompto grabbed the guardian's hand and dragged her out of the Citadel. They returned to their apartment, where they packed their things before leaving Insomnia.
Prompto was behind the wheel as they drove through Leide and crossed into the Duscae region. (Y/n) was wondering where he was taking her until she saw a familiar yellow sign. Her eyes widened as they pulled up to Wiz Chocobo Post. As she went to exit the car, Prompto beat her to it. He opened the door for her and took her hand in his. Closing the door, he smiled like a child in a candy shop. "There's someone that's been wanting to see you again for a long time."
The spirit allowed her beloved to drag her towards the pens. She wondered who wanted to see her since she couldn't think of anyone outside the city she knew. However, a bell of recognition went off inside her when spotting a chocobo with (f/c) feathers. "No way," she gasped. Prompto let go of her hand and she walked up to the pen occupied by her favorite chocobo. When the bird recognized her, he chirped loudly and flapped his wings in excitement. She petted the top of his head with a smile. "Hey, buddy. It's been a long time. Did you miss me?"
The chocobo nudged his beak against her cheek, making her giggle. She wrapped her arms around his neck and combed her fingers through his (f/c) feathers. "I missed you, too."
Prompto vanished to find Wiz. He rented two chocobos, one being the (f/c)-feathered bird who was fond of (Y/n). He returned to her and they took the two chocobos out of their pens. The couple left the outpost, riding atop the birds as they traveled across the Duscae region. They enjoyed the warmth of the sun and the beauty the wetlands had to offer. Prompto, of course, was still fond of photography and snapping picture after picture.
The couple stopped at the Alstor Slough and admired the catoblepases roaming through the wetlands in search of their next meal. Hopping off the chocobos, they stood at the water's edge. Prompto continues to take pictures until he was satisfied. All of a sudden, he remembered something. "Oh! I totally forgot!"
"Please don't tell me you forgot to pack something," (Y/n) groaned. "I even gave you a check list!"
He chuckled. "No, I packed everything." He shoves his hand into his pocket and pulls out a piece of paper. "I never really told you what happened the last time I came to Wiz's." Unfolding the aged, wrinkly paper, he showed her the portrait that was drawn on it.
(Y/n) took the paper from him, eyes widening slightly. "This is our portrait from Altissia..." Looking up, she stared into Prompto's eyes. "You carry it around with you?"
He nodded. "Yeah. It's also how I knew who this guy was," he said, pointing to the (f/c)-feathered chocobo. "Two years ago, I was back at Wiz's after finishing a job. It was before I learned Noct was coming back. He managed to grab the paper from my pocket and recognized you in the drawing. That's when I decided to promise to bring you back here to see him."
"I still can't believe I slept for ten years," (Y/n) mumbled sadly. "I wish I was there with you, Prom."
"I wanted you with me too, but I guess we really never get a say in what the Astrals have planned," he said. "But those ten years without you made me realize something."
"And what's that?"
Prompto took her hand in his, entwining their fingers together. "Come with me to Galdin Quay and I'll tell you."
The two mounted their chocobos and headed back to the outpost. They parted with their birds and headed to their next destination. Arriving in Galdin Quay, they took their luggage to the room Prompto paid for. After settling in their room and unpacking, they decided to get a bite to eat. At the counter of the Mother of Pearl, they placed their orders and waited patiently. As they did, (Y/n) shattered the silence lingering between her and Prompto. "Well, we're at Galdin Quay now. You gonna tell me?"
"Hold your chocobos, (Y/n)!" Prompto exclaimed. "Just...give me a couple of days to find the right words. In the meantime, we can enjoy all this delicious food and the beautiful beach!"
"All right, fine. I'll try to be patient," she sighed before poking him in the side and causing him to jump slightly. "Just don't keep me waiting too long."
Their dinner was served. Munching down on the delicious seafood, they savored every bite. When the food was gone, they paid and returned to their room for the night. The couple fell asleep after a few hours of chatting and getting comfortable in the plush bed. Their slumber was peaceful and both woke up early the next morning to relax on the beach.
(Y/n) grabbed her swimsuit and took off her nightwear. As she hooked her fingers under the elastic band of her panties, two toned arms snaked around her waist and pulled her against a bare chest. She tensed up slightly when Prompto nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck and his goatee grazed her skin. "H-Hey, that tickles!"
He chortled, kissing the side of her neck. "Sorry. I couldn't help myself."
"Are you going to let me put my bathing suit on or do I need to prepare for something more intimate?"
"Maybe later, but not right now. Even though it's very tempting seeing you like this..." He kisses her cheek before releasing her. "I'll go find us a spot while you change."
"All right. I'll be there in a few minutes."
Prompto left with all they would need to enjoy the beach while (Y/n) changed into her swimsuit. Adjusting the strings one final time, she was ready to go. Leaving the hotel room, she walked through the restaurant and crossed the boardwalk. She found Prompto not too far from the fishing pier. He had everything set out and prepared for them to enjoy their day at the beach. There were a few other people who had the same idea as them.
Crawling onto the towel next to Prompto's, (Y/n) basked in the warmth of the sun. She closed her eyes as a content sigh fell from her lips. Her eyes, however, shot open seconds later when she felt a cold substance come in contact with her abdomen. Lifting her head off the towel, she saw Prompto smiling innocently at her as he put sunscreen on her exposed stomach. "You can try acting innocent, but I know what's going on in that head of yours, Prom."
"I am not thinking dirty thoughts, I swear!" He protested.
"If you say it a little louder, you just might be able to convince yourself," she snickered.
Prompto's hand gravitated towards her sides, where he caresses his fingers against her exposed skin. A smile manifested on his face after hearing her moan slightly. "Who's the dirty one now?"
She rolled her eyes and sat up, taking him by surprise. She snatched up the bottle of sunscreen and placed her free hand against his bare chest. She pushed him down on his back into the sand and straddled his lap. She did just as he did and squirted a decent amount of sunscreen on his exposed belly. "Damn, that's cold!" He shrieked.
Now it was her turn to laugh at him. She laid both of her hands on his abdomen and began rubbing the sunscreen in. Her golden eyes were focused on his face. What caught her attention was him biting his bottom lip. Smirking, she traveled south with her hands and stopped just above the waistband of his swimming trunks. She teased him by slipping a few of her fingers under the waistband. That was just what she needed to hear the moan he's been suppressing. She removed her hands and moved them up to his chest. "Guess we're both feeling a little naughty today." She climbed off of him and got to her feet. "Let's take a dip and clear our heads before we get lost in our hormones."
(Y/n) grabbed Prompto's hand and hauled him up onto his feet. She dragged him towards the clear waters of the ocean, where they both swam for the next couple of hours. After playing a few water games with each other, Prompto swam towards the guardian and encircled one arm around her waist. He pulled her closer when she rested her head against his shoulder. They floated aimlessly, enjoying each other's touch.
After ten minutes of silence, Prompto spoke up. "Hey, (Y/n)? Remember when I said I'll need a couple of days to think about what to say?"
"Do you need more time?" She inquired.
"It's the opposite, actually. I think I know exactly what to say." He pulled them towards the shore. "Think you could wait for me on the beach? There's something I've gotta grab from my suitcase."
"Sure," she responded, wondering what he needed.
They swam back to shore. Prompto ran back to the hotel room while (Y/n) remained on the beach. She stood at the water's edge, allowing the gentle waves to wash over her feet. The sand stuck to her wet feet, but she didn't mind. It was the first time in her life she was able to enjoy the beach. Galdin Quay is the perfect spot to go on a vacation, especially if you wanted to relax on the beach. The water was clear and sparkled as the sun's warm rays casted down on the surface of the ocean.
Hearing the padding of footsteps and the faint crunch of sand, (Y/n) looked away from the ocean and saw Prompto had returned. A nervous smile was plastered on his face as he hid something behind his back. He came to a stop in front of her, swallowing hard. "Okay, I know I said I have the perfect thing to say, but I completely forgot it because of how nervous I am." He wiped at his forehead that was damp with sweat. "I think I'm sweating..."
"Try to calm down. I don't know what has you in a tizzy, but you look like you're about to pass out," she said. "Whatever you wanna say, just say it. You don't have to use any fancy words on me."
"Then I'll just come out and say it." Prompto kneeled down on a single knee and revealed the small black box he was hiding behind his back. Opening the lid, he revealed a beautiful ring with a golden diamond that matched her eyes and gemstone. Along the sides of the yellow diamond were two smaller white ones. Along the silver band were golden accents that matched the yellow diamond. "It's taken me a while to find the perfect moment to ask you, but I figured why not while we're in the most beautiful place in Lucis?"
(Y/n) stared wide-eyed at the beautiful ring. "Prom, are you...?"
"Proposing? Yeah..." He blushed in embarrassment. He looked up at her face with worry. "A-Am I doing this right? Or have I totally screwed this up?"
"N-No! You're doing just fine," she reassured him. "Please, continue."
He took a deep breath before continuing. "Those ten years without you made me realize how my life isn't complete without you. I felt so empty and useless without you. I don't ever wanna feel that way again. Will you marry this loser?"
"I don't see a loser. All I see is the man I'm deeply in love with," she smiled at him. "Of course I'll marry you, Prompto."
The man smiled back, his heart racing in his chest as he took the ring and slid it onto her ring finger. Once the ring was secured on her finger, he stood up and engulfed her in a hug. "Thank you, (Y/n)."
<--------------<<<<<
Five years have passed since Prompto proposed to (Y/n). With help from Noctis, Ignis, and Gladio, they both had a wonderful wedding. Now, the thirty-seven-year-old marksman was searching for his wife and their new addition to the family. Searching the Citadel, he found her and their four-year-old son, (S/n), in the training room.
(A/n: (S/n) stands for son's name in case some of you aren't aware. I couldn't think of any names and thought you guys would have one in mind. It's also to make this story more x reader friendly.)
(Y/n) was in her spiritual form, laying on her belly with her front paws stretched out in front of her and her back paws tucked under her. Her tails were splayed out across the marble floor as (S/n) climbed across her back and up her neck to reach her head. When he did, he outstretched a hand and began messing with the white tips of her ears. Her ears flicked over and over again at the feeling of her son's touch. They were always quite sensitive and it would always tickle her whenever someone touched them.
Prompto watched with a gentle smile. He chuckled when (S/n) managed to crawl up just a bit higher and sprawl his small body across the fox's face. "Okay, buddy," he approached them as (Y/n) lowered her head for him to grab their son. He grabbed (S/n) and lifted him off the spirit's face. "Mommy's not a jungle gym."
"But we were having so much fun!" The (h/c)-haired boy whined. The child looked over at his mother with cerulean eyes that were just like his father's. Although he was the child of a human and spirit, he looked like a normal boy with no guardian features. "Tell him, Mommy!"
(Y/n) changed back and stretched her arms up in the air. "We were, but mommy needs a nap. It's been a long day. We can play some more tomorrow, sweetheart. I promise."
An idea popped into Prompto's head. "Hey, how about you go see Gladio in his office? I'm sure he'll play with you."
"Okay!" (S/n) dashed out of the training room when Prompto put him down.
(Y/n) eyed her husband. "Are you trying to drive Gladio crazy? Or just trying to get rid of our son?"
"I would never get rid of (S/n)!" He denied. "It's to drive the big guy crazy. Besides, (S/n) loves him!"
"Looks like Gladio's the favorite uncle," she giggled.
"Speaking of the favorite uncle, Gladio's agreed to watch (S/n) for the rest of the day. You and I have some time for ourselves. What do you wanna do?"
She placed a hand on her hip with an eyebrow quirked up. "Don't you have work to do?"
"I finished early just so we could go out." He took her hand, entwining their fingers. "So, where do you wanna go?"
She smiled. "Surprise me."
"Leave it to me, milady!"
They left the Citadel and spent their time together by traveling to a few places around Insomnia. It had been hours since they left (S/n) in Gladio's care and the sun was setting. After grabbing a bite to eat and stopping by a bakery to buy some sweets, they headed home. Stepping into the apartment, they saw Gladio knocked out on the couch with (S/n) running circles around the coffee table.
"Little guy's so full of energy he wiped out Gladio," Prompto chuckled.
"Maybe we should save the sweets for later," (Y/n) mumbled.
"Mommy! Daddy!" (S/n) shouted when spotting them.
Prompto nudged his wife towards the kitchen and whispered. "Hide the sweets before he sees them. I'll keep him distracted."
The guardian quickly made her way to the kitchen and hid the items from the bakery. She placed them up high so (S/n) couldn't see or reach them. Leaving the kitchen, she found her husband and son sitting on the couch by the sleeping Gladio. She wondered what they were talking about and eavesdropped.
"C'mon, daddy!" (S/n) whined. "Tell me the story of how mommy took down that big monster again."
"You mean the behemoth?" Prompto asked.
"Yeah!"
"Whoa, hold it," (Y/n) intervened, knowing the story was gory. "Don't you think that story's a little too grown up for him, Prom?"
"Nah, don't worry about it, (Y/n). I leave out all the graphic parts," Prompto explained.
"Well, then...tell away."
While Prompto told the story, she tapped Gladio on his shoulder and gently roused him from his slumber. When the shield was fully awake, she offered him a grateful smile. "Thanks for watching him, Gladio."
"Hey, I love the kid. I'll watch him anytime you and Prompto want a night out on the town," he said, standing up.
"But what about your duties as Noct's shield?"
"Our lovely king has been really busy with his own personal affairs lately," he chuckled. "He plans on proposing to his special lady soon."
"Maybe it's about time you found your special someone."
"Trust me, I've got my eyes on a special gal. Now all I gotta do is ask her out," Gladio explained. He patted her on the shoulder. "I'm heading out. You three have fun."
"Bye, Gladio. Thanks again," (Y/n) replied.
"Anytime, (Y/n)." He walked past Prompto and (S/n), ruffling the little boy's (h/c) locks. "See ya, squirt. Make sure you don't stress your parents out too much."
"Bye, Uncle Gladdy!" He giggled, waving farewell to the man.
After hearing the door close, (Y/n) checked the time before sitting down beside her husband and son. She combed her hand through (S/n)'s messy locks. "Have you already ate, sweetie?"
"Mhmm. Uncle Gladdy ordered pizza for us. There's even leftovers in the fridge."
Suddenly, (S/n) yawned and leaned against his father's chest. He was having issues keeping his eyes open and warding off sleep. "Whoa, someone's tired," Prompto said. "It is a little past eight. I think it's time for someone to go to bed." Scooping the little boy up into his arms, he stood up from the couch.
"You wanna put him down tonight?" (Y/n) asked.
"Yeah. Meet me in the bedroom?" He questioned.
"Yeah. I'll be there shortly." She watched Prompto carry their son to his room before locking the front door and heading to the master bedroom. She crawled on to the bed, laying on her back. She stared up at the ceiling, mentally sorting through what she would need to do tomorrow. Her train of thought was derailed when she felt the mattress dip and saw Prompto looming over her. "Is (S/n) asleep?" She inquired.
"Yep," he answered before leaning down and placing a kiss on her forehead. He snuck a hand under her shirt and traced circles on her soft skin. "So..."
"What do you want?" She sighed.
"You, uh... You think we could have another kid? Y'know, so (S/n) can have a little brother or sister?" Prompto muttered, eyes full of wonderment.
"You want another kid after four years?"
"Bad timing?"
She shook her head. "No, it's just...why now all of a sudden?"
"Well, (S/n) told me how much he wanted a brother or sister while I was tucking him in. And I think having another kid would be great! I just hope it's a girl this time. I want a little (Y/n) running around."
A smirk crept onto the guardian's face. She pushed Prompto down on the bed and straddled his lap. "Well then, I guess we better get started."
<-------------<<<<<
After their sexual escapade, it was only a little past nine. Both were sweaty and in need of a shower. (Y/n) wrapped the sheets around her bare chest as she sat up. "Guess I'll have to wash the sheets again."
"I would hold off on that," Prompto chuckled.
She looked over at him, puzzled. "And why's that?"
"We're gonna enjoy ourselves again tomorrow night, and maybe even the next night..."
She smacked him on the arm. "We're lucky (S/n) didn't hear us tonight. It's too risky to do this every night, especially since his room is literally right across from ours."
Prompto smirked as he sat up. "That just means we'll have to be extra quiet." He wrapped an arm around her shoulders and pulled her naked body against his. He pressed a kiss against her forehead and hair. He tucked her smaller form against his side, resting his head on top of hers. "Honestly, I'm happy with just hugging and kissing you."
She wrapped her arms around his waist and snuggled closer. "Me too, Prom. To be honest, I never saw this in our future, but I'm happy it was. I love you so much."
"I love you too, (Y/n)," he whispered. "You've made me the happiest man on Eos."
"Let's continue to make each other happy as long as we can, okay?"
He nodded his head with a gentle smile. "Deal."

[Photos are my own] The next 24 hours were a blur; bagel, taxi, airport, flight, layover in airport, Frankfurter infused pretzel, flight to worryingly small airport, ride in the back of a 1980s Toyota pick-up truck (with cages full of chickens and feathers flying about), which took you to the smallest train station you’d ever seen (one platform), two steam trains later, a weakened moment of purchasing unidentified brand of cigarettes with picture of a goat on the front from a man that smells profusely like garlic, and then a moment of mildly suppressed panic at being in a completely unknown to you part of the world with not a word of Romanian to your repertoire.
Standing at what kind of looked like maybe the side of a road-ish, you pulled out the badly printed map, co-ordinates and a compass. You looked up at the sky, despite it being overcast the clouds were still thin enough to be able to see roughly where the sun was sat. It was 2pm, your phone no longer had a hope in hell of working out here signal wise, but at least for now, it could tell you the time, after that it would just be you and the sun.
You couldn’t deny as the treck took you further away from the already very small towns and villages, and further into the countryside and wilderness, that the landscape was incredibly beautiful. Snow-capped mountains, like you’d never seen anywhere but the movies graced the horizon, leafless tree branches began to out-number their more lustrous looking sisters, and yet, dotted amongst the white, a spattering of green, forests and woodlands a-like, untouched by the torrents of snow, as if by some magic. The fresh air in your lungs made you feel powerful somehow, like you were on a path leading to destiny, something inside you was being fulfilled. Even during the time sat alone on the steam train, staring at the hillsides and woodlands as they flew past, catching your own reflection in the glass here and there, you’d felt as if you were heading towards something exciting yet familiar.
The day seemed to go much faster than you’d imagined, but then it was late into the year, the days much shorter. Grateful for the fact that you’d chosen to wear a zip up hoodie under your usual work jacket, you still had to give the tops of your arms a rub with your gloved hands. You’d also prepared with thin leggings under your black combat trousers and worn hiking socks under your military boots. There was still more than enough light to see, but the Village was still not yet in sight. The hike had been challenging, your knee was now starting to protest, both with an ache and with a sharpness too it. Just a little further, you thought, wincing against it.
You stopped dead in your tracks. There was a noise nearby but not anything that you were used to. What was that? A train? There were no train tracks running through this part of the wilderness as far as you knew, you’d hoped not at least, else you’d be kicking yourself in the ass if you could have saved yourself from the pain that you were in after all this time. A rumbling, chundering, rickety sound, drawing closer and closer. A light in the distance, a lantern, two of them, swinging wildly now on the front of a carriage and a man’s face, crazed with panic, and what a man, at least two times the size in both height and girth of anyone that you’d ever met before.
“Run my darling adventurer, run, for it is not safe for you here!” He yelled towards you. But you couldn’t, you were frozen solid, seeing now what he was trying to escape; and you’d thought this man was larger than life. What approached behind him… was unearthly. The wind was thrown out of you as you were yanked by the collar and swung onto the back of the carriage. The man had tossed you up to at least temporary safety, although how stable this thing was you did not know. You stared back towards the rear of the carriage, eyes narrowing on what you now identified as your target. In short, you could see some kind of humanoid being, roughly 8 foot tall, muscles rippling, pale, sallow skin, with patches of thick hair covering various parts of its body, a loin cloth, beady, mean cold gold eyes, pointed ears and a mouth full of needle sharp teeth. Hurtling along in front of it, in its grasp were two humungous beasts, covered in shaggy hair, almost like two huge dogs or bears, but with some of the most nightmarish faces that you’d ever seen. All you could see was that fact that they wanted nothing more than to tear you limb from limb.
You didn’t mess around for shit and your pistol was in your hand before you could say ‘boulder punching bastard’. You fired one, two, three times, each shot tearing through the shoulders of the front two beasts.
“You really think that thing is going to take them down?” Yelled the driver, craning his head around to take a quick glance at you. You grimaced, thrown down to the roof by a sudden jolt, and quickly tore your glance back at your enemies. They were closing the gap.
“Make a quick turn, here, around that rock!” You yelled, pointing ahead. The man began his manoeuvre as you’d instructed, and without question, for which you were grateful, you only had a couple of seconds to act and one shot at this. You pulled the aerosol from your pocket. This wasn’t just any can, this was something that you’d created yourself. Looked like a normal deodorant or spray can for sure except for two minor differences; it was re-fillable, and it had a range of up to 15 feet. You swiped the lighter back from your cap and took aim, lighter in your left hand in front, aerosol in your right hand, the U-turn took your right back past the trio as they came tearing down the slope. The noise wasn’t quite deafening, but it was loud enough, and you’d succeeded. The two hairy beasts were covered in flames and yelping, running frantically and tore off into the forest. HAHA! You laughed, another bump and you were back on the roof, stealing a glance at the man steering who had a grin on his face too. “Trick shot!” You called back.
The wolven giant roared in fury, for he was scorched, but his rage burned savagely more so than any flame that you could create.
“Very good little moth, but we need something bigger for that one. In the carriage, the room below you there is something that will help, you will know it when you see it, retrieve it now.” You nodded, not noticing for a moment what he’d called you, but you didn’t have time to think and ask. You slid down through the small hatch in the roof, just wide enough for your body, some kind of sky light you guessed and fell to the floor. The dwindling sun light now blazing red over the horizon and through the silhouettes of the trees lit the inner carriage just enough for you to take in what was around you; a lot of meat for one thing. You were never any good at hiding your thoughts on your face, but no one was here to see that right now. There were a couple of larger crates, a globe, typewriter, trinket boxes. Parts rolled and rattled, but you knew what you were here for, right in front of you on the bed. You pulled yourself back up through the hatch.
“This it?” You called to him, holding up a hefty and yet ornate bow. It seemed to be built in the way that somewhat resembled a modern-day compound bow but had a more traditional look to its materials and smaller details. “That’s the one’” he called back. “Here, take these.” He went to pass a bundle of arrows without quiver, but as he did so the beast threw itself at the back of the carriage. You yelled, the impact threw you into the arrows, your blood now over a few of the heads, and all at once you were thrown into darkness, your back slamming against the floor of the inside of the carriage. Shaking your head, you realised what had happened, scrambling on the floor and grabbing as many of the spilled arrows up as you could. Blood began to soak the garments covering your right hip. It was just a flesh wound, but deep enough to sting, reminding you of a time in your childhood when you’d crawled through brambles and the thorns had left 12 longs scars down your torso.
Back on your feet, you booted the doors open, throwing them into the beast’s face, both his clawed hands firmly sunk into the wood either side of the carriage, half running, half being dragged along. He reared his head and roared at you, and you roared back, raising the first arrow and taking aim. “FUCK YOU!” You cried out, the arrow sliced through his cheek but this only made him angrier, throwing one arm into the carriage now, half in, the other arm pulled him further, you realised quickly with terror that you were very quickly being pinned against the bed at the back. It grabbed you around your waist, yanking you down onto the floor, roaring madly once again, into your face, the foulest smelling breath hot and slick with spittle. Something crashed off the shelf above you and onto its head, almost like it shot out of place of its own accord, against the natural trajectory of the way of which the carriage was now turning. It threw the beast back out of the carriage and you only had a moment to grab onto a fixture on the wall which held tools in place before you felt the carriage begin to topple and hurtle.
You lost count of how many rolls it took, but when it stopped it was deathly silent, like a veil had been pulled over this part of the woods. Rain began to fall on the deathly branches above in the would-be canopy. You pulled yourself out, scathed and bleeding, but you weren’t done. Good job you’d thought to throw on your light armour mid hike. You looked around at the driver, he didn’t say anything, but he was breathing. “Are you ok, friend?” You asked, putting a hand on his shoulder. He brought his head up and looked up at you. “Yes.” He replied, placing one of his hands over yours. You nodded and started walking to the hulking heap of hair, blood and muscle only meters away. With each step you took you felt the presence of something growing behind you, like a shadow. The sound of metal scraping. “He’s here.” You heard your companion breathe. You had no idea who or what he meant, but right now you had one thing on your mind and that was your kill.
Still closing the gap without a falter, you took three arrows that you had clipped to your bag only moments ago, set their heads ablaze with the fluid and lighter. You set them against the nock, the flames burning bright now in your eyes, and a shower of metal, knives, bullets, scraps came flying down from around you and into the flesh of the beast. They didn’t just stop upon impact, they kept going, embedding themselves further and further into its flesh. It bellowed and swung its arms in pain, standing tall above you, arching it’s back, but still you stood your ground, unblinking, until it fell back down to the ground, writhing now. You leapt up onto its twisting shoulder, taking aim with the bow and let the trio of burning arrows do their work, shattering through the skull, two ending it all at once, and one at an angle coming back halfway out of its blood shot eye.
You stayed there for what seemed like an eternity. Staring and waiting. No thoughts going through your mind, the darkness in you waning back to the parts of your mind where it usually hid, flowing away like black smoke or the tide going out.
Something was calling. Not out loud, but in your head, your heart, something was calling just for you, but without any sound. You looked up towards the carriage, which strangely was now upright again, though in a bit of a mess, your friend there besides it, a little worse for wear, and a glint of light, the reflection of the flames that had begun to grow around you in the darkness just beyond, the crunch of the undergrowth, and whatever it was, was gone.

Official Accounts Part 29- Tea Talk
Summary: (y/n) was perfectly happy remaining anonymous, even if her best friends were all pro heroes and she worked under THE Hawks. Handling the technical aspects of hero work from the background suited her just fine, thank you very much. That goes out the window when suddenly her twitter blows up thanks Denki and the famed no. 2 hero is asking her to run his own official twitter as a result

You walk into your apartment somewhat exhausted. You’d spent the whole day doing hardware fixes and tinkering with some of the new equipment the commission had sent over. You greatly preferred software so days you are primarily doing hardware work are always harder. For a moment you forget you aren’t occupying your home alone, and then suddenly you hear the sound of your kettle whistling. You wander into the kitchen to find Keigo grabbing out two mugs. His wings are finally starting to grow back in earnest although they’re still too small to fly with. Seeing them reminds you of small cherub wings almost and every so often you’ll catch him fluttering them just a little bit as if to confirm they’re really there. You notice a few of his feathers rifling through your tea cabinet to find your favorite before dropping a bag in each mug. The sight makes you smile.
“Isn’t your spot typically on the counter little techie?” Keigo asks, interrupting your thoughts as he pours the hot water. You hop up on the counter and take the mug he offers you. “That it is Kei,” you smile. “You sent your friends to check on me,” he replies casually as he moves to lean against the counter just like that first time the two of you had tea together. “I did,” you confirm. “Thank you. I hated it but I needed it. So thank you.”
The two of you lapse back into silence for awhile. It’s different this time. Not uncomfortable per say, but there’s a weight to the silence. You can tell Keigo wants to say something but can’t quite get himself to. Perhaps he’s searching for the perfect wording to express his thoughts. Perhaps he isn’t sure he’s truly ready to share them at all. Regardless, you wait patiently. You wait patiently even as your tea cools. You wait patiently even as you start to drink it. You’re still waiting patiently as you finish off your tea and Keigo’s grip tightens around his still full mug in apparent frustration. You put your own mug down before carefully prying Keigo’s away from him. He waits for the moment you ask what’s wrong, a sense of failure already sinking in because even with how much he’s let his guard down around you he still can’t completely let go. He dreads the moment you ask because he just knows he won’t be able to tell you and it will break your heart again. He braces himself. And then you ask your question: “Wanna get high for the first time?”
He blinks at you, surprised, and wonders how you do it. How did you know he wouldn’t be able to handle disappointing you again? “Sure,” he finally replies. “I’ll meet you on the balcony,” you tell him with a small smile before hopping off the counter and heading to your bedroom, where Denki had left the remaining weed from the party the other night. By the time you head to the balcony, the door is open and Keigo is sitting on the floor outside, staring up at the sky. You close the door behind you as you step out to join him before taking a seat next to him. He watches as you somewhat clumsily roll a joint for the two of you. “Denki has always been better at this than I am,” you chuckle sheepishly. “I think you’re doing great,” Keigo responds. “Of course you would. You have no idea what great rolling looks like,” you tease before procuring a lighter from your pocket. “Ok, so here’s how this goes,” you start, “if you don’t want to cough here’s the trick. First bring the smoke into your mouth, hold it there for a second, and then inhale more and bring it into your lungs. Got it?” “Got it.” “Good.”
You put the joint to your lips and carefully light it. You take your time drawing it in and Keigo can’t help but think there’s something strangely beautiful about the way you do it. When you’ve finished you pass it to him and watch as he carefully follows your directions. You resist the urge to giggle at how serious he looks. “Relax Keigo, that’s kind of the point,” you tease. He rolls his eyes but does his best to not think quite so much on his second hit. After you’ve each taken a few hits, you give him a considering look and then decide to address what had made you invite him to smoke with you in the first place. “Look I’m not saying you should make weed the answer every time you’re struggling to open up. I refuse to be the reason the number two hero picks up a drug addiction. But you also looked like you were going to give yourself an aneurysm trying to say whatever it is you wanted to say. So we’re going to sit here and smoke and it will mellow you out and if you decide you can and want to say whatever it is that was on your mind in the kitchen that’s great. If not, well, that’s fine too,” you assure him. The thank you Keigo gives you is quiet but genuine, and you cherish it all the more for it.
It takes about an hour for Keigo to finally work up the courage to speak his mind.
“I owe you a talk,” he confesses.
“What do you mean?”
“About why I did what I did. I haven’t really explained. Not specifically. And you deserve that. Especially with everything you’ve done for me these past few days.”
“You don’t have to tell me anything,” you assure him. “I really, really do,” he responds.
He takes a few deep breaths, another hit, and then he slowly starts to explain: “I didn’t investigate you because I never liked you like that. I liked you so much it was frankly terrifying. Ever since that first late night at the office with you after you agreed to run my social media, you’ve shown me you understand me in ways that I didn’t even think possible. My mom didn’t love me enough to take me with her when she bolted. My dad certainly never loved me. Thank god Endeavor saved me and carted my father off to jail but I had such a clinical and tactical childhood. I... I couldn’t comprehend why you would want to be involved with me without an ulterior motive. I asked you on the date primarily to interrogate you yes. I won’t insult your intelligence by trying to lie about that. But it wasn’t because I didn’t want to be with you. It was because I wanted to be with you so bad, I desperately needed to prove you really were just crazy enough to like me back.”
“Oh Keigo... Thanks for telling me,” you say. He nods and silence falls over you both once again as you debate whether to say what’s on your mind. You take another hit, holding it in your lungs a little longer this time before releasing it into the cold night. “Now which of us is holding back?” Keigo prods as he plucks the joint from your fingers to take a hit of his own. “I just....” you sigh, “there’s something you should know about Endeavor.” “What do you mean?” “He’s not who you think he is.”
Hawks looks at you incredulously. What the fuck is that supposed to mean? “No offense but I think I know him a little better-“ “He’s a child abuser.” You’re just as shocked by your outburst as Hawks is, judging by the way he’s staring at you. “No. That’s not possible,” Hawks insists. “It’s true. The reason Dabi became a villain is because Endeavor pushed him too far in training and it literally almost burned him away entirely. Until recently Endeavor thought he was dead because of how massive the fire was. Then he trained Shoto into the ground as well to try and prevent him from turning out like Dabi. Like Touya.”
“You’re lying,” Hawks accuses desperately as he stands and begins to pace the small length of your balcony. “You know me well enough to know I’m not,” you fire back. “Who told you all this?” “Dabi.” “And you’re just going to trust him!?” “Of course not! But it makes sense doesn’t it? How the fuck else would the son of the long time number two and now number one hero end up a villain? Plus you never met Shoto in high school. He hated his father for years and even now their relationship is strained at best. It all lines up, Keigo!” you insist and it hurts. It hurts to see Hawks looking so distressed. It hurts to watch as his worldview crumbles in front of your eyes. “But I’m only here because I wanted to be like him,” Hawks finally admits, stopping in his tracks and trembling in place. “You are so much better than him,” you try to reassure the man in front of you, but as you rise and place a hand on his shoulder Hawks shakes you off. “Don’t,” he bites out before storming back into your apartment. The sound of the door slamming shut behind him feels like a gun shot in the quiet of the night.
Author’s Note: Idk if people noticed this but I’m very intentional with when I refer to our bird boy as Hawks vs when I refer to him as Keigo. Or at least I try to be. It was a bit of a last minute decision to have (y/n) reveal Endeavor as human garbage to Keigo in this chapter but I’ve been thinking about how he’d react to finding out his childhood hero is an abuser and this came out as a result.

After All These Years - Leo Valdez x Reader
Tumblr media
Requests: None
Notes: For my first fanfiction I knew I had to do something for my favorite character in the world, Leo Valdez!
Summary: Years ago when you ran away from your dysfunctional family, you met Leo Valdez and quickly fell in love. But, it was not to be. You were torn apart from each other and theres a part of you that never recovered. Years later you live at Camp Half-Blood, being best friends with the legendary Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase. When Percy goes missing the hole Leo left only grows, and when 3 mysterious demigods appear you are suspicious. But then you see Leo.
Warnings:  Mental Abuse, Swearing, Angst,Depression, Dysfunctional Families, and tons of Fluff.
       Your boots hit the leaf ridden ground silently. Your heart pounding through your chest as you reposition your back pack on your shoulders. You take one last look at your old beaten down and paint chipped house before directing your attention to the path ahead of you. It was pitch black outside, save for the porch light leaking into the darkness beyond. You didn’t know what kind of creatures dwelled in the forest in front of you, but at this point it didn’t matter. After so many years of almost unbearable mental abuse from your (mortal parent), you were finally running away. The only destination in your mind was away. Away from this house of horrors. Away into the great beyond. It was edging into late fall now so you made sure to wear a coat, and pack a few spares too, along with rations, money, and water. You had to refrain from swiping your (mortal parents)’s credit card too, as those cards can be easily tracked. If theres one thing you didn’t want, it would be to come back to this house.
You take one last deep breath, sucking in the cold night air, before suddenly sprinting away into the woods. Your feet crunch down on the dead leaves as you run. The farther away from the house you get the better you feel, so you speed up, darting through the trees in the dark. A soft laugh escapes your lips. It’s a sound you haven't heard yourself make in years, but the feeling is exhilarating. You laugh again, this time louder. The laughter fills your veins with pure bliss. It’s the happiest you’ve ever been.
At least, until your boot snags on a tree root, sending you flying forward into the darkness. You put your hands in front of your face, bracing yourself for impact. You hit the ground hard, skidding through the fallen leaves. Then suddenly the ground isn’t there anymore. Your arms fly out and grab a root, sticking out of the cold earth. You look around and realize you're hanging out over a sinkhole. A strangled cry rips through your lungs as you see how deep it goes. The sensible thing to do is calm down and climb out, but your limbs are numb from the cold and the terror. Tears well up in your eyes as your life flashes before you. Your (mortal parent) always blamed you for your (godly parent) leaving, and made it known to the world. You never had a normal life, or a good one for that matter.
 Your hand starts slipping on the root but you're too distracted to notice. Then your cold fingers finally slip off of the root, but before you can fall you feel a warm hand wrap around your wrist. They pull you up and over the ledge of the sinkhole. You immediately stand up and stumble away from the edge, ensuring your safety. Then your eyes drift over to your savior, who’s holding a battery powered lantern that lights up the surrounding area. It’s a Latino boy your age, wearing a grease smeared army jacket. He has wild unruly black curly hair, pointed ears, warm brown eyes, and a mischievous grin creeping up onto his face.
“That would have been quite the fall, huh?” He says.
“Yeah, I saw my life flash before my eyes.” You say, jokingly making a grimace.
He chuckles and you smile at his reaction. You had always hid your pain behind humor, and it was an excellent strategy. It was also a plus to make others laugh when you could never yourself.
“That bad? I can relate, that’s why I’m running away for the…” He trails off, silently counting before saying, “Third time, I think? I’m pretty much an expert by now. Now, what is a cutie like you doing out here?”
You blush slightly and reply with, “Same as you, running away. Except this is my first time.”
“Well…” He says, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. “Since this is your first time and all, how about we stick together? I could show you the ropes.”
You think about it for a moment. Although, what is there to really think about? He seems trustworthy, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s incredibly handsome. “You know what? Let’s do it.”
His eyes widen, “W-woah, really? I didn’t really expect you to say yes.” Then his face splits into a giant grin, “My names Leo Valdez, by the way.”
“Nice to meet you, I’m (Y/N) (L/N).”
“Well, let me lead you to my campsite, mi princesa.” At that he takes your hand and starts to lead you through the dark forest.
***
It had been a few weeks since you had met Leo Valdez, and those weeks had been the best weeks of your life. You had become best friends with him fairly quickly. He was just so funny, cute, and selfless. He had opened up to you about his past and his mother and in turn you opened up to him about your past. At this point he knew more about you than even your (mortal parent). You had to admit, you were falling in love with him.
You were planning on telling him tonight, huddling around your nightly campfire. Your thoughts were interrupted by Leo finally getting the fire started and sitting next to you on the ground. You lean your head on his shoulder and he wraps his arms around you. The days were progressively getting colder and you two needed to keep warm so cuddling turned into a habit.
“Hey, Leo?” You ask timidly.
“Yeah, mi princesa?” He responds.
Leo had started using that name for you constantly. You secretly liked it, but every time he called you that you would simply say ‘stuff it, Valdez’. It was like a inside joke, and you loved it. You’ve never had a relationship like that with someone.
“I-I think I love you.” You say, deciding not to beat around the bush.
He immediately grabs your shoulders and spins you around to look at him. “(Y/N) please tell me this is one of your stupid ass jokes.”
You scoff, “My jokes are better than yours, asshole.”
“So this really isn’t a joke?” He whispers.
You smile softly, “Not a joke.”
“I love you too.” He says.
He starts to lean down but freezes when sirens start. A group of policemen run into the clearing and yell, “There they are! It’s the runaways!” Before you can even get up off of the ground they pull you and Leo by your arms, leading you to separate squad cars. Your eyes widen as you yell, “Leo!”
Leo struggles against the policeman, but to no avail. “(Y/N)! I’ll find you! Don’t worry, I’ll got to the ends of the earth to fi-” He’s cut off when he’s thrown into he back of a police car.
“Leo!” You yell again before your thrown into a police car yourself.
Years Later
You sit alone under a tree in Camp Half-Blood, mulling over your thoughts and memories as you stare off into space. You weren’t a fan of being left alone with your thoughts, but your best friend Percy was missing and Annabeth was out looking for him, leaving you by yourself. Your thoughts immediately wander back to Leo, making tears well up in your eyes. Leo still hasn’t found you and you haven't found him, and it was eating you up from the inside out. To this day you haven't had a bond with anyone like you had one with Leo. Sure, you helped save the world with Percy and Annabeth but it wasn't the same.
  After you were pulled apart from Leo, you where sent back to your (mortal parent) and the mental abuse only got worse. It wasn’t until a satyr told you that you were a demigod and took you to Camp Half-Blood that you were finally safe. But as the years went by you developed depression, missing Leo with everything you had. You only occasionally smiled at Percy being an idiot, but that was it. These past few months you've barely talked to anyone though. If missing Leo wasn’t enough, now Percy is missing and Annabeth is hysterical. You could barely keep on going.
Your thoughts were interrupted by the sound of screaming. Your head snaps up as you see a chariot sailing through the sky. No, not sailing...falling. Your eyes widen as you realize it’s Annabeth’s chariot. You jump to your feet as you see it crash into the pond. You immediately sprint down to the crash site where others had already gathered.
Annabeth is standing there soaking wet and looking frustrated while 3 other figures climb out of the pond. You slow down as you watch each of them emerge from the water. First is a girl, with feathers braided into her hair. Next is a boy with blonde hair that honestly looks...really bland. Your heart stops as you see the next person climb out.  It’s a Latino boy your age, wearing a grease smeared army jacket. He has wild unruly black curly hair, pointed ears and warm brown eyes. It’s Leo. Your Leo.
You audibly gasp, making heads turn to look at you. “Leo?!”
Leo scans the crowd, looking a little confused until his eyes land on you. His eyes widen, “(Y/N)?!”
Then you both simultaneously sprint towards each other, knocking over anyone in your way. Leo slows down as he draws closer but you speed up, slamming into him and knocking him over on to the grass. You start sobbing as you look into Leo’s eyes, which tears are welling up in too.
“I can’t believe it’s you...” Leo whispers.
“I can’t believe it’s you either...Leo, I’ve missed you so much!” You say. Seeing Leo made it feel like a giant burden was lifted of off your shoulders. Seeing him made you feel complete.
“I looked for you,” He says. “I ran away again and tried to find you but I couldn’t. (Y/N), I’m so sorry.”
“Don’t be sorry. We’re together again that’s all that matters.” You say, smiling softly.
He stares at you lovingly, his eyes drifting down to your lips. Then he kisses you. The feeling was something you’ve never experienced but it felt so right. You kiss back eagerly, running your hands through his curly hair. A series of Awwws sound throughout the camp. You pull back and smile. Leo is blushing like mad but smiles back.
“Wait, this is the Leo?” Annabeth asks.
You had told Annabeth all about Leo, but now you were regretting it. A bright red blush creeps up onto your face.
“He’s kinda scrawny.” She comments.
You and Leo look at each other. A smirk appears on your face. “She’s gotta point there Valdez.”
A mischievous grin appears on his face. “At least I don’t tell stupid ass jokes, mi princesa.”
